Yves shot his wife a look, a murderous glint in his eyes. Though they both had their affairs, a public scandal would be a stain on his reputation.
It seemed this Natalie was not to be trifled with.
Delia looked flustered and didn’t dare meet her husband’s gaze.
Keeping lovers wasn’t exactly something to be proud of. If it got out, she would become the laughingstock of Yaro.
How did Natalie know?
Natalie gave Delia a warning look, her smile blooming into a confident, almost aggressive grin. “Mrs. Spencer, if you try to tarnish my name again, I will release those videos. If you won’t let me live in peace, then none of us will.”
Delia was so choked up she couldn’t speak, only able to glare at Natalie with pure hatred.
Natalie turned to Yves, her gaze icy. “Mr. Spencer, murder must be paid for. I will be suing Maxwell for attempted murder.”
With that, Natalie walked away.
“Natalie, don’t go! You can’t sue my son for murder! His brakes failed, it wasn’t intentional! I’ll give you any amount of money you want, as long as you write the letter of forgiveness!”
Delia couldn't bear the thought of her son having a criminal record. It would make it much harder for him to inherit the corporation.
That foolish boy, he had no patience. They would have had plenty of opportunities later, but he had to cause trouble at this critical juncture.
Natalie ignored her and walked straight into the police station. She was here today to submit new evidence.
She had investigated Maxwell’s phone in record time and found that he had been planning her murder for half a month, even stalking her.
