Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 702

Natalie’s eyes flashed with admiration. A handsome man was certainly a captivating sight.

But his aura seemed to have changed. His perfectly sculpted features now held a touch of untamed defiance, and a chilling coldness swirled in his deep-set eyes.

Even Mrs. Spencer Sr. felt he was different.

“Marshall.” Mrs. Spencer Sr. looked at her grandson, who seemed to have matured a great deal.

Marshall walked over and sat down next to Natalie with a smile, resting his head on her shoulder.

Natalie was slightly taken aback, then asked with a gentle smile, “Marshall, are you… still scared?”

Marshall lifted his head and looked at her, blinking his eyes. The sense of maturity from moments before vanished as if it were an illusion, and he looked like a young man again.

“Natalie, thank you. Without you, the Spencer family would have been gone.”

His voice was heavy, but he said it with a smile, a mix of choked emotion and relief.

Natalie paused, looking at his complex expression. She asked, “Marshall… was there anything else in your dream?”

This was the reason she had waited here.

Marshall clearly didn't want to recall the memory. He asked with a smile, “My death was pretty gruesome, wasn’t it?”

Natalie didn’t know how to respond.

She bit her lip and said nothing.

Hearing this, Mrs. Spencer Sr.’s heart skipped a beat in fear. “What are you two kids talking about? Don’t say such things so early in the morning.”

Marshall shook his head. “Grandma, you don’t understand. Last night, I truly felt what it was like to die.”

“Grandma, this time, I won’t make the same mistakes again.”

The old woman stared at him, hopeful that he could truly grow up quickly. The Spencer family needed him.

Marshall smiled and asked, “Natalie, can you answer my question?”

Natalie didn't know what to say. “You… well… it was basically what I told you last time.”

“Haha…”

Marshall let out a pained laugh.

Both Natalie and Mrs. Spencer Sr. watched him with concern.

When he finished laughing, Marshall said, “The reason this happened is because I prayed for a second chance before I died. Because my end was so miserable.”

“Only right before my death did I learn that everything was a plot by Joanna and another man against the Spencer family. And you, you warned me to watch out for Joanna, despite everything. But I never listened to you, and it led to my parents’ tragic deaths and my grandmother dying of anger.”

“And I don’t even need to mention what happened to me.”

The thing Natalie most wanted to investigate was the man behind Joanna. “Marshall, did you see the man who was with Joanna?”

Marshall said, “I did.”

Natalie asked excitedly, “What did he look like?”
