She had just tried calling Robert, but he’d hung up on her.

Colin forced a smile. “Joanna, murder is illegal. If I get caught and rat you out, do you think you’ll get away? You’re pregnant right now, your temper is short, and you’re emotional. I’ll just pretend I didn’t hear what you just said.”

Colin held out the bubble tea with a smile.

She snatched it from him, stabbed the straw in, and took a long sip. Her mood improved slightly. She shot Colin a cold look. “Colin, everyone who stays by my side has to have value. My two older brothers were both willing to hurt Natalie for my sake.”

“Do you know what the eldest did for me? He hired some thugs to go after Natalie, to ruin her.”

“And my second brother, he slandered her name for me. You’ve done a few things, but not as much as them. Why don’t you do something to hurt Natalie? Prove to me that you’re truly loyal to me, and that Natalie is the sister you truly hate.”
