Can’t Win Me Back novel (Alyssa and Jasper) novel Chapter 2531

"Julien!" Jonah roared. His heart seized, and his eyes turned red instantly.

How could he possibly not save Julien? He had to save him, even if it meant going through hell and being battered and crushed along the way.

"Jonah, remember my voice?"

From the other end of the line, Uri's mocking voice drifted into Jonah's ear like a ghost rising from hell.

"Uri Holland!" Jonah growled, uttering the name engraved in his mind through clenched teeth, his eyes bloodshot.

Uri let out a chilling chuckle. "Seems like I left quite an impression on you, Judas."

"Let my love go! If you want revenge or need someone to vent your anger on, come at me!"

Jonah's eyes blazed with fury as a violent energy erupted from him. He roared, "Listen carefully, Uri. If you come for me, I'll gladly give you my life. But if you lay even a finger on Julien… I'll tear you apart and grind you into dust!"

"Jonah!"

Alyssa's heart pounded as tears filled her eyes. Of course she was worried about Julien's safety, but she didn't want to lose a sibling either. She couldn't afford to lose anyone else in her life.

Absolutely not!

"My love? You call him your lover?"

"Jonah, don't come for me… More importantly, don't let his nonsense get to you! You don't owe anyone anything. You've never done anything wrong!"

Julien's gravelly voice rang out clearly, firm and resolute. "Uri, your younger brother's death had nothing to do with Jonah. Blake was the one who chose to become a traitor. He chose to be a rat. A traitor is destined to die!

"Back then, Jonah endured immense pressure just to keep him alive. He did everything he possibly could. Even if it meant being dragged down to his own death, the thought of killing your brother never once crossed his mind.

"It was Blake who chose to give up on his life. He used the gun in Jonah's hands to end it himself. He committed suicide. So how can you blame my man? You're delusional. You're out of your mind!"

Jonah's heart skipped a beat. He had only ever mentioned fragments of the story about Blake to Julien. Never had he imagined that Julien would dig so deeply into his past to piece together the full truth on his own.

It seemed Julien truly cared about him—not out of jealousy or insecurity, but simply because he loved him. That was why he wanted to understand Jonah's past, down to the smallest detail.
