Alyssa's heart clenched painfully. She pulled away from Jasper and rushed toward Damien with tears streaming down her face, throwing her arms around him. "Damien… Don't be afraid. I'll find a way to treat your headaches. I'm sure we can cure it!"

"Damien's condition is the same as Jasper's."

Jonah's heart sank, his chest tightening painfully. "The medication Justin gave him wasn't a headache medicine at all. It's an extremely addictive drug that affects the cranial nerves.

"Recovering memories naturally comes with intense psychological reactions. But Justin used the drug to suppress Damien's brain function, preventing him from regaining his memories."

Alyssa's eyes blazed with fury. "That damned bastard!"
