ADELE’S POV
Lucien’s hand was warm and firm around mine as he pulled me out of the bathroom. The music and laughter faded behind us, replaced by the quiet echo of our footsteps in the long hallway.
“Where are we going?” I asked, trying to keep up with his long strides. “Lucien, tell me. What’s the surprise?”
He didn’t answer. Just glanced back at me with that wicked half-smile that always made my stomach flip, eyes dark and full of secrets. He kept walking-through the grand corridors, up the sweeping marble stairs, all the way to the top floor where our bedroom waited.
When we reached the door, I stopped and raised a brow at him. “Our room? This is the big surprise?”
He leaned against the frame, arms crossed, looking unfairly gorgeous in his tux. “Open it and see.”
I rolled my eyes but pushed the door open-and gasped.
The room was transformed.
Soft candlelight flickered everywhere…dozens of them on the dresser, the nightstands, even along the windowsill.
The warm glow danced across the walls, making everything look golden and intimate.
Roses-deep red and white-were scattered in vases andacross the floor, petals trailing from the door to the bed like a path. The air smelled like heaven: sweet flowers mixed with the faint spice of the candles and something that was just him.
My heart squeezed. I stepped inside slowly, taking it all in, the silk sheets turned down invitingly.
Lucien followed, closing the door softly behind us. The click of the lock sounded loud in the quiet.
I turned to him, chest tight with emotion. “Did you do all this?”
Hę scratched the back of his neck, cheeks turning the faintest shade of red. Goddess, he was adorable when he was shy. “Yeah. Well… this is why I was gone so long. I wanted to do something nice for you. Make tonight special. Your first time…fully claimed as mine.”
Heat pooled low in my stomach, sweet and aching. I walked back to him, placing my hand on his warm cheek.
“Do you like it?” he whispered, voice low, almost unsure.
I smiled, standing on my toes to press my lips to his softly. “No.”
His face fell. “No? Tell me what you don’t like—l’ll take it away right now-”
I kissed him again, deeper this time, cutting him off. “No, Lucien,” I whispered against his mouth. “I don’t like it. I love it.”Relief and hunger flashed in his eyes. His arms wrapped around my waist instantly, pulling me flush against his hard body. He kissed me back like he was starving-deep, desperate, tongue sliding against mine, hands roaming my back like he couldn’t get close enough.
I melted into him, fingers threading through his hair, tugging just enough to make him groan.
Then he pulled away suddenly, breathing hard, eyes dark and wild.
I moved closer-slow, teasing steps-until I was right in front of him. Then I straddled his tap, knees on either side of his hips, and started giving him the lap dance he’d been waiting for.
My body rolled against his, breasts brushing his chestthrough his shirt. I ground down slowly, feeling him thick. and hard beneath me, and we both moaned.
His hands gripped my thighs hard, fingers digging in like he was holding on for dear life. He buried his face between my breasts, nose dragging over my skin, lips pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses there.
I gasped, hands fisting in his hair, pulling him closer.
Then I stopped-pulled back just enough to look at him.
He smirked up at me, breathing hard, eyes glazed with lust.
“Did you enjoy the dance?”
“Fuck yeah,” he growled. “I want you to dance for me more often. Only for me.”
Our eyes locked. Desire swam between us, thick and heavy. I bit my lip, leaning in slowly, so slowly, until our lips were almost touching.
His voice came out soft-barely a whisper, like he was afraid to say it too loud.
“I love you,” he said. “Hove you so fucking much.”
