Chapter 39

I didn’t know who he was. But unlike the previous times I’d seen a man during the curse, I didn’t feel like running from him. Instead, I found myself clinging onto him. His steady breathing helped soothe something manic in me as he laid me on the bed.
“Save me,” I begged as I led his hands to my breasts. “Everything feels too hot, it hurts.”
He pressed his lips to mine hungrily before massaging and squeezing my breasts, making them ache deliciously. He raked his thumbs over my nipples. “Show me where it hurts the most, Vicious.”
“H-here. P-please.”
I led his hand to my center. He rubbed my clit. “You mean here?”
I moaned as sensations exploded in my system. He was playing with my nipple using his mouth while rubbing me there with such urgency as if he knew how badly I needed him. “Inside me.”
He pushed two of his fingers in, hitting that spot that made my knees buckle. I tore his shirt and held onto his shoulders as he added one more finger. He was stimulating me in all the right places. My hips rolled, meeting his hand with his every thrust.
“More,” I whimpered as I rocked myself against his hand.
“Come on my hand first, Vicious. And then I will let you come on my cock.”
I hit my climax, screaming a name I had instantly forgotten, but not the way he made me feel. His eyes churned and I liked what I saw. It was not the obsession I was used to but something else. Something deeper. Something primal and animalistic. Something I hadn’t seen before and still wanted to see again.
It felt good to be seen like that. Like I was cherished. Like he was seeing me, all of me, and he was enjoying every bit he was seeing: the messy. The wild. The ugly. And the cursed.
My mind may be foggy right now, but I knew nobody had ever truly seen me before. Nobody had matched the wildness in me. Nobody had answered this primitive call inside me the way he did.
I was delirious, wanting, and hurting.
Somehow, he knew.
Because he was right there in an instant, spreading my thighs, and then stuffing me full of him. I was stunned. Someone told me that this was a curse I had no choice but to live with. For the longest time, I believed them. But with this man inside me. it didn’t feel like that at all.
My tears rolled down my cheeks.
If the curse was true, then was he the cure? They said I was damaged because of this sickness. That was what I felt for almost half of my life. Damaged. But at this hour, I felt blissfully whole. Complete. Free from the darkness. From the pain.
I stared at my gray-eyed salvation. His muscles ripped with his every thrust. He captured my eyes, let me watch as he lifted my feet, dropped a wet kiss on my ankles, before placing both my feet on his shoulders. His movement became fast and hard, matching the urgency I was feeling.
“I’m almost there!”
“I know. Come with me, Vicious.”

Chapter 39
I did.
And did it again, witnessing the sunrises and sunsets from the glass wall each time.
When I opened my eyes again, I felt like I’d been crying for days. I just knew they were swollen without looking at them in the mirror.
And then I saw him. In his naked form.
Thrusting inside me like a mad Greek god. No, like an alpha and a pain in the ass bastard.
“What the hell, Black? What do you think you’re doing?!”
My screams instantly turned into moans when he rammed himself deeper. Damn it. It felt good. Too good. He was filling me in all the right places like this was where he belonged.
Creed smirked. “Look who’s finally here. Welcome back, Vicious.”
