Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 127

Tank POV

Zero was coming back today, he left after our wedding, he was sent with a group to see what was happening at the Jones gang clubhouse, do a bit of reconnaissance and to take photos if they could, for our attack, that was getting closer, the men who were injured as well on the mend, those with broken bones, will take longer, and Prez was talking about postponing the attack, a little longer, because of the investigation into the accident and Barry, he feels we would be better equipped to attack, we are having a meeting after the guys return, to discuss what they learned, and the change of plans.

The guys are itching for revenge, and we been carefully selecting who knows about the possible Barry connection, we don’t want a renegade go take revenge, it shouldn’t happen, but when guys get drunk and rowdy, unexpected can develop, and so we avoiding telling some of the hot heads till we have our boys back, and more information to divulge. So far, the talk around us about Barry was because of Fixer, and the word was mainly about her abusive father. Prez was more than happy for them to think that, for now, it wouldn’t be the first time we have harassed someone for being abusive to a family member.

I don’t mind admitting I miss my brother, there was a lot to talk about the new investigation, and I want to prepare him, before I offer to show that pictures, after a long thing, I feel it best he sees them, even as bad as they look, he has that right, we are close, and withholding might cause a dent in our relationship, one I can’t risk happening. He doesn’t even know about our moving in next door, as they have been on the phone in silence till they get back. Fixer has a room ready for him, decorated in colors similar to those in his room at the clubhouse. He might not want to come here, like Bruiser didn’t.

We had just settled in the lounge room when suggestions of games were brought up. I internally groaned at the idea; Jenny and Sticks liked the worst type of game. But when Fixer suggested my tattoo, I was happier about it than about the childish games I am not interested in joining. Plus, I get to have her name stand out on my chest. I love having her name on me, can’t wait to see mine on her.

Fixer, set up and set to work, the others watching her as she set up, all fascinated. Fixer was concentrated on her work, giving those who were slowly closing in on her no mind. I watched her face as she concentrated. Every so often, the pink tongue came out and swept her bottom lip, sucking it in. I have a semi just watching her, and waiting for the pink tongue to pop out. The feel of the gun, as it pieces my skin, was different than the one at the tattoo shop; it was less painful, and I put that down to Fixer and not the gun, maybe, it’s hard to know, but I like this better. She will be doing all my tatts from now on.

“You do a good job. Grandpa would be pleased that his legacy was handed down. Although, from what I hear, there was little that you turn your hand to that you haven’t mastered. You do our family name proud.” Uncle Simon said, as Fixer finishes the last of the inking for today, smears it with cream, and steps back to clean her tools and pack up.

The gang comes forward to scrutinize her work, some reaching out as if to touch me, but one look at my face, and their hands stopped mid-air.

“I like those lines, they aren’t rough at the same time, not completely smooth, it’s an odd look, perfect,” Blaze said with awe.

“The bike chain as the outlining, nice touch. Great job, can’t wait for the color, see what you’re going to do. I want one.” Prez grinned.

“Didn’t think I would see that kit in action ever again.” Uncle Simon said, not looking at me, but stood with Fixer, inspecting each piece after they had cleaned it.

When she had left Tandy’s office, after talking to them on the phone, she had admitted that she would like to meet than, and get to know the full story of the family, but they are strangers to her; they never tried to find her before, so why should she be in a hurry to meet them now? But she does want to meet her dad more than anything. He was her priority; he would have been devastated losing her mother, and then all this BS that followed, he must have felt he had lost her, too. Fixer felt she needed the chance to know him; he, too, was lost when her mother, ‘Amaya’, had died. His estrangement with his parents would have meant he only had Fixer’s grandparents to turn to, and when they lost custody, he had to have felt he lost everything. But legally, he could have returned and reclaimed Fixer, but he may not have known that.

Can’t turn back time, but we can move forward. Uncle Simon has his feelers out, looking for him. We have our fingers crossed that we find him alive and willing to get to know Fixer.

“Time to call it a night, going to be a busy day tomorrow, with the lads returning,” Prez announced, standing up and stretching his back.

We headed upstairs, the day been another emotional one.

I rushed to the large mirror and looked at the tattoo. It was exactly what I expected, no, it was better than I expected. The slight feathering on the edges made it so much better than plain, straight lines.
