Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 155

Tank POV

Some members slowly got drunk, and then the singing started; food at last came out to help soak up some of the alcohol consumed in excess. Something they often do, when it was free, they tend to overindulge, and it appears more will be with sore heads tomorrow, even Blaze looked to be slightly under the weather.

Sometime during the early evening, Jenny and Melany had come over. However, no sign of Fixer. I kept looking at the gate, hoping she would arrive.

“Go find her, you’re bringing down the mood.” Zero slapped me on my back and pushed me towards the door.

“Take Prez with you, he’s watching that gate as much as you are.” I slap him on the shoulder and head to Prez. I agree, we both need to find our women for different reasons.

“Prez, come. We need to check that our ladies have eaten. We both know they will skip a meal, for one reason or another, and Sticks can’t afford to miss out on a meal.” I practically dragged him away from the members, but once out the door, and on the way to the gate, his stride was almost as long and as fast as mine; I barely beat him to the gate.

“Hurry up and open it,” Prez growled, but with a chuckle.

I let Prez go through first, and together we started to walk to the main house.

“Workshop lights are on, guess we know where Fixer is.” I looked over and nodded.

“Catch you soon,” I replied as I changed direction, to the workshop.

Music reached my ears as I opened the workshop door. Fixer’s soft voice, joining in with a song, she harmonised well; whoever told her she had a bad voice lied, but that was enough to cast doubt in her mind and make her avoid singing around others. Such a shame, really. It had taken a while to get her to open up, and now she was blossoming. Still a bit shy, but getting there. Having Jenny and Melony around will bring her out more. They both love to sing and drag Fixer into the mix.

I found Fixer, covered in oil on her hands and grease on her right cheek, her hair messy, as if she had tried to push it out of her eyes, with oil smudges in her hair too. She still looks gorgeous to me; no amount of oil and grease could hide her beauty in my eyes. I leaned against the wall and watched her work; she was oblivious to my watching her.

My stomach reminded me that I didn’t eat earlier, and by the look on Fixer’s face, I would say the same for her.

“Fixer, it’s late, I am hungry, come feed me.” I joked, and she lifted her head swiftly to look at me. I put on a pouting face and rubbed my belly, hoping looked pitiful and needy.

“What time is it?” She asked, her stomach rumbling as she asked, making it impossible to deny the need for food.

“Food time. Come on, let’s see what’s in the kitchen” I coaxed, my face grinning, when she picked up a rag and wiped her hands; this action made little difference to her hands. Fixer popped into the outside bathroom before entering the house, giving her hands and face a proper wash and kicking off her work boots. I watched her, waiting patiently, not that I don’t trust her, I like watching her, being with her.

“Ready.” She huffed, trying to get past me, barefoot

“I will have to wash your hair tonight, you have oil and grease in it,” I spoke softly, pushing some hair behind her ear and leaning in to kiss her on the forehead.

“Okay.” I pulled her to my side, and we headed together for the kitchen.

The kitchen was empty. I guess Prez was still upstairs to hunt for Sticks, and the others, meaning

the guards, Tandy, and Uncle Simon, either ate out or had something earlier; it was after eight. We

found some leftover roast and made some gravy. We made roast beef and gravy rolls, and sat in

the kitchen eating, not saying much; we didn’t need to fill the silence.

“Tandy and Uncle Simon have left. They were going to leave tomorrow, but decided to go today,

have dinner together, and head off to do whatever they needed to do. Tandy wanted to know about having a family get-together, bringing the wife and kids to meet us, either here or in town. Said I would talk to you first. We can go to that nice restaurant in town and have dinner together. I would like to do this because, even after all those years, I had not been any wiser, that Tandy had my back, in what he could legally do, and protected Grandma’s legacy.” Fixer spoke as we made roast beef rolls for Prez and Sticks.

“That’s fine with me, look forward to it, I like Tandy.” We took the food upstairs and knocked on the Prez and Sticks’ door.

It opened up, with a flustered-looking Prez, not any happier than when we left the clubhouse.
