Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 158

Fixer POV

It didn’t worry me, entering this cell alone, I needed this, even if I don’t get answers, it would be good for me to see her stuck here, until she died, they won’t feed them or give them water, if she doesn’t die from her wounds, she will die of starvation. Both sound good to me. I am not a sadistic person, but right now, you might reconsider that assumption.

The room was exactly as I had envisaged it, although a little larger. Cricket was in a high-backed chair, chained so that she couldn’t move a muscle. Her eyes were closed, her face bruised, her shirt torn, barefoot, and her hair a mess, already a pool of urine on the ground, and it smelled bad in here.

The Guard moved to the chair and slapped her hard across the face. Her head flung to the side, and she yelped in shock, lifting her head to see me staring at her.

“Oh, thank goodness, can you get them to unchain me? They must have taken me by mistake.” She pleaded.

“Not a chance,” I replied, looking for a chair to sit on, but the only option was the bed, and that didn’t look very hygienic.

“What, you are my friend, why would you want me chained like this?” She was putting on a great act. I can see why many fall for her tricks, including me at first.

“Your sister is dead,” I replied coldly, and she looked shocked. Then schooled her face, making it blank.

“I don’t have a sister.” She spat at me, a complete change from the pleading a moment ago.

“Zoey would have been sad to hear you say that.” I watched her carefully and saw the small change before it disappeared.

“Poor Zoey, how did she die?” Cricket asked, back to playing innocently. It was amazing how fast she was changing from one defiant woman to a sympathetic one.

“Same way you will.” A worried look flashed across her face and disappeared just as fast.

“You might get some company soon, that might help your day go faster.” I bait her.

“Who else would you bring in here?” She spat at me, but it missed. Landing near my shoe, the Guard slapped her for spitting.

“Alice and Heather, your cousins,” I replied softly.

“Heather’s not my cousin.” She started to say, and then closed her mouth, realising she had said too much.

“We shall see, waiting on the DNA report, if Heather is linked to you; she will join you before morning.” I look at the Guard and nod; he gives Cricket another hit.

“Now, tell me, Cricket, why does your father, ‘The Accountant’, want with the club?” I asked, folding my arms over my chest.

“He’s not my father, I don’t even know the accountant.” She denied.

“Really, your phone records say otherwise.” I lifted her phone in the air and pushed the button; I placed it on speaker so you could hear it ringing.

“Cricket, where the fuk are you? I have been trying to reach you all day. Come home; they have Barry, and it won’t take long before they start on you. I have already called Alice and Heather to get home now, can’t get Zoey, but that’s not unusual for her to be out of reach.”

“Dad, Zoey’s not coming home.” Cricket stated, and I hung up the phone and waited.

“Get fucked.” I moved forward and punched her in the face and stomach.

Her phone started to ring; it was her father again.

“So, you lied again. Are you going to talk, or are we going to give up a whole lot of pain, see if you can last longer than Barry or Zoey, mind you, Prez is next door, having a nice chat with Sheila, she might talk, but then she might die quickly too.” I smirk, satisfied to see fear at last in her eyes.

Her phone rang again.

“Zoey was my sister, Heather and Alice are my cousins, and they are both related to the president of the Jones gang. Barry had a beef with your family, something to do with Sheila and her running away from home. I don’t know much about that. Dad had said that one of our founding members was associated with your club, that there was a falling-out and bad blood, and that he had planned his revenge for years. He is dead now, but the revenge still lives; a promise was a promise, and until the gang was wiped out, would the Jones gang stop?” She looked at me hopefully, guess she thought answering my questions might get her out, think again.
