Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 179

Tank POV

Watching the doctor examine Fixer was difficult. No man should have his hands where he had his, yeah, yeah, I know, he’s a doctor, and seen plenty of ladies down there. But she was still my wife, and I kind of liked knowing I was the only one who had been inside her. I leaned back against the door. When her legs were apart, no way was I letting anyone through that door, while she was like that.

The doctor was done, eight weeks, that means in seven months or so, I will be a dad.

I still can’t believe it, to be honest. I hadn’t really thought about it at all, hadn’t asked if she was on the pill, I can’t wear a condom, neither Zero nor I had ever found one that could take our girth, and I gave up trying. It was embarrassing, asking at the chemist, and we both tried online, but that was also not easy, because where do you get it delivered?

Prez nodded, indicating we needed to be near him, or I did at least. Fixer could sit at the back if she wanted; this was men’s work, and I was concerned about what she would see, how Fixer would react, and whether she cry. I kept her close to me, even more protective than ever before.

She had a life in her body.

I can’t wait for her to be large and for the baby to be kicking, so I can feel it. At the moment, you can’t tell. I wonder how far along before she would show?

Will she be okay, like she won’t be sick like Sticks will she?

How can you tell?

At least I know it’s real.

Did Bruiser ever know that Cricket was never pregnant? I hadn’t had a chance to talk to him before all the split happened, now I have lost the respect of him, and I stopped blaming it all on Cricket, he had to have had doubts, or maybe wanted more power, which he could have had if he accepted the VP position before it was handed to me, or did he not get offered, and it was all bluster?

I push these thoughts away, and concentrate on the talks before me, if you can call them talks, this guys saying nothing, and I had expected as much. They are well-trained, most scouts are, ours that we send out are tough, and we would expect them to take what these guys were giving, that was until the blade came out, that was a whole new level of hurt.

The guy still didn’t give out information, even in all that pain. I take my hat off to his loyalty to his gang; the president would be proud if he could see this. The man didn’t last much longer with the beatings and was picked up and returned to the cells, where he would either breathe his last breath or wish he had.

The next few sang like a bird, but they didn’t give us new information, and it appeared they knew very little, more brawn than brains, the day so far had been a waste of time, four dead, not coping at all this the beatings, and seven back in their cells awaiting death, of whatever the members decide to do to them, that left the accountant.

“Lunchtime, let’s leave that man till after we have eaten,” Blaze suggested, and soon bread and the makings were on the table, the guys helping themselves, coffee or tea offered, or water, the bar not yet open, to the disappointment of many of the men. So far, the members were still on a high, having enjoyed beating up some of the Jones Gang, and I feel they had lost the purpose of this exercise; it was more than getting revenge. We needed answers, but it was hard to get them.

Prez, Blaze, and Zero came to sit with Fixer and me!

“We are not getting answers, and I don’t want the men hitting the accountant, I think he should be dealt with differently, how about we let Savage and Stephen have some fun, and if we are not getting anywhere, use the truth drug that Stephen talked about, the men seem to have lost focus, and are only out for blood,” I suggested, not at all happy with how they handled the last two men, and it didn’t surprise me that they died.

“I agree, I can announce that we are the ones to deal with the accountant, as he was in the

hierarchy and needs us to deal with him, as they had their fun with the other eleven. I doubt anyone

would argue over it. If they do, I want him investigated as a possible mole.” Zero added, and I knew he would; we have always had each other’s backs.

Savage was more than invested in this task; he would want the accountant’s life for taking his wife’s life. He didn’t take it very well when he heard that Fixer and I believed he was behind it all. Uncle Simon was the one to fill him in, explaining why he was offered the opportunity to assist Stephen. Uncle Simon didn’t want Fixer or me in the room when he told Savage, and Savage agreed quickly to be involved in this interrogation.

We found the two standing together, eating a sandwich, and drinking coffee, outside under a tree, enjoying the day.

“Stephen, your turn’s coming up. We will soften the accountant up, giving us a chance to ask some questions, and then you and Savage can give him the serum and work on him.” Fixer Informed him before I could say anything. Then turned and headed back inside. Head held high, her step sure, and quiet confidence oozed from her.

“That woman really is something,” Stephen said softly as we watched her leave.

“Yeah. Savage, we would like to catch up after we have dealt with the accountant. Please join us for dinner.” I offered and waited for his answer.

“Sure, I would be honored.” Savage agreed.

“Can you get the accountant after you have finished your lunch?” I turned and left, leaving them to finish their lunch and to find Fixer.

I found my wife near the bar, talking to Zero.

“Hey, I asked them to bring out the accountant after they finished eating,” I said, looking between Zero and Fixer.

“Good, Fixer was just inviting me for dinner, she said she will order Chinese takeaway when this is done. I love takeaway, I offered to have Melony collect it, but was turned down, because we don’t know how long this one will take, expecting it to last longer than any others.” Zero answered with a smile.
