Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 322

Skunk POV

“Hey, my man, now that you have finished eating, care to join me on the dance floor and have some

fun?” Pip tried to coax Dan off my lap. He turned to look up at me.

“Want dance, me?” he asked so innocently, his face pleading.

“Sure, buddy, I can take you dancing, but wouldn’t it be more fun to dance with your mum?” I didn’t know where the dad was, and I sure as hell didn’t want to make trouble for her, or this delightful

little guy.

“If your mum says it’s okay,” I continued softly, hoping to get Pip to respond with something, anything. I wouldn’t mind holding her in my arms, but I can’t because she’s taken.

“Mummy?” He turned to look at Pip, who hadn’t moved closer to take him, leaving the decision to

the boy.

Who’s the adult here?

“Okay, the kind man can join us on the dance floor.” Pip smiled at the child, with such love that it took my breath away. I hope one day someone will look at me like that.

“He’s Daddy, not a kind man.” He chuckled back, as if Pip called me a kind man, by my name.

What?

When did I have a kid with a stranger?

“Pip?” I looked at her, confused, as I stood holding the child on my hip, and taking a step towards

her.

“He had decided you are his father,” Pip answered, as if it was obvious.

“Does that mean he doesn’t have one?” I was by Pip’s side, not handing over the lad just yet; he was clinging to me like a monkey and not showing any signs of letting me go either.

“No, he doesn’t have one, and now is not the time to discuss this, if you don’t mind.” Pip snapped back, then looked guilty for having done so, but didn’t apologise for the attitude.

We made it to the dance floor, where they were playing some rock music. We had just begun to dance, or at least bobbing up and down in time with the music, when the announcer asked the new couple to the floor to lead the one and only slow dance. Suddenly, I am holding Pip to me, Dan between us. Dan was snuggling into me, and I figured he was heading for a nap soon. This had been a lot of excitement for this little man. By the time the song had finished, Dan was asleep. I reluctantly let Pip take the young lad from me and disappear upstairs. Guess she has a room for the night. I want to know more about her, but she doesn’t appear to want to talk to me. Had my

reputation reached her, and does she think I want to bang and run?

I found Sprocket, a little while later, with two girls on him, the doors had been opened for the non–members to celebrate the new building’s look. As much as Sprocket looked like he was enjoying these ladies, I didn’t feel the mood to get involved, like I might have done in the past. But still prefer someone not club–related.

Took a seat at the bar, ordered a Coke, and watched the crowd. Fingers and Doom looked to be

having a great time, so wrapped in each other, I was jealous, but happy for him.

“Two down, two to go,” Tempest said beside me. I turned to give her my attention.

“Having fun?” I asked, not sure what she could do in her chair. She was six months away from legs, hopefully. The last six months had flown by.

“Yes, it was great with the ladies last night, and the ceremony went without a hitch, which makes me feel proud to be part of all of this.” Tempest waved her hand around, signifying the whole party.

“Yeah, it was good to catch up with my friends. It has been a while since we went on a ride. Do you think you can pull off a run soon? I am itching to hit the road.” If anyone can make it happen, it

would be Tempest.

“Planning a ride, get away for a weekend,” I replied as he leaned down and gave Tempest a peck on

“You have not found a girl to your liking?” Tempest asked, looking around at all the new faces in the place who had come to look at the improvements.

“I heard you were playing as Dad earlier. Play nice with them.” Storm ordered softly as he looked around the room.
