Chapter 341
Skittles POV
“Why do I need to go?” I asked my brother for the hundredth time.
“Because he was our friend, was there for us, when the family fell apart, and stood by us when everyone else turned their backs on us, we should go there to see him get married and support him,” Stinger argued back. I was so over this. I don’t like weddings, seeing all those happy faces. They call me jaded because of how badly I handled catching my boyfriend of two years, in bed with the club’s biggest slut around. He said it was just sex. I told him to Fuk off, because if it was just sex, did that mean I wasn’t good enough? That he had to get it somewhere else. He had no answer for that, and we haven’t been together since. You don’t do that when you have a girlfriend, you want to sleep around, dump her first
“Okay, how long are we staying?” I needed to know how much to put in my bag.
“A couple of nights, maybe a week.”
“A whole week?” I complained the whole time. I packed a bag with enough for a week. Mainly
changing underwear and girl stuff.
We climbed on our bikes and rode together, Stinger leading the way. It was a whole day’s ride to a motel for the night, then a morning run to the wedding.
We would arrive just before it started,
The ride so far has been perfect, just what I needed to blow some cobwebs away and clear my head. I have seen that arzzhole every day with different bytches, it makes me sick, I want to leave the club so badly, I have let my hate eat at me. I know my brother is trying to help me get over it, and understands how hard it has been, seeing him at the clubhouse, having the time of his life, with different women, and rubbing it in my face. I have bedded a few men, and as my ex said, it’s just for the release, no emotions involved.
We are at the motel, in a two–bedroom unit, eating takeaway, in front of the TV.
“You remember Storm?” I nodded, not sure where he was going with this.
“I have asked him about you and me joining his club, and he has agreed. I have had the bulk of our things packed up, and will arrive after the wedding, and Storm will do a ceremony welcoming us into the pack.”
“What didn’t you think about talking to me about this first?” I spat back, even though I was pleased
he had done this.
“Come on, we both know you aren’t happy at the other club, and we were dragged away from our friends because of Dad being a prick. Now I can be back with my four friends, and you love them

too, and we need this change. You need this change. Get away from that Ahole, he made your life suck since you broke up with him. He wanted his cake to eat it too. I am not happy with the club accepting that what he did was okay. That’s why, when I heard about Storm becoming president, I knew we would be fine–I had to wait for the lockdown to end. I missed Doom’s wedding because of Mum and the Ahole man she’s with now, but we’re gone now. Only the president knows it’s for good. Kept it away from Mum and your ex. It’s the president who had our gear packed. The moment we left, we had a truck behind us bringing it to our new club.” Stinger was looking at me as if pleading that what he did was right for both of us.
“It’s fine, Stinger, I get it, and appreciate what you have done, but it still would have been nice for the heads–up.” I let him off the hook.
“No offence, sis, but I was afraid you would say something to your ex, in a fit of anger, with him and let the cat out of the bag. I couldn’t risk it. Mum would try anything to keep us from leaving.”
“You’re right, I would have, and Mum would get the guys to rally behind her, like she always does;
Slowly, I drifted over the door and found a spot where I could lean against a wall and still see the ceremony above the heads of those sitting down. I am height–challenged. At five–three, I have always had to find a spot away from the crowd to see what’s going on. I looked at the people, all chatting and happy. It was good to see so many smiles. Stinger filled me in with Skunk and his lady, and it was nice. He will make a great day, from what I remember of him and his mates. They had been good friends and were there for us when our lives went downhill, faster than a rock in a pond.
My eyes found the front, and there, standing with the guy named Tandy, were the four of them. Skunk was nervous, shuffling from foot to foot, eyes glued to the entrance where Pip would arrive.
Next to him was Storm, who was the kindest, gentlest man out of the four of them, and he was
never one to judge a person at first glance. Then came Doom. He had changed a lot; he didn’t have
that flirty come here look anymore. Guess when you find the right girl, you change. Last was
Sprocket. He looked bored and lost. If that were possible, the last to find a woman, I wonder what kind of woman he’s looking for? Or if he was, last I heard, if he had a pulse, he would bang it.
The sounds of bikes in the car park announced the arrival of the bridal party, and the people turned to look at the entrance in expectation. Tempest rolled down the aisle to the front, then Fingers and a girl I didn’t know, Stinger, said it was the VP’s sister, but I had yet to meet her. Then the bride, being escorted by the cutest man I have ever seen, had this concentration on his face, and he walked her down the aisle, and handed his mother over to Skunk. I was almost in tears as I watched him. I could hear what he said, but the smiles and chuckles made it clear it was something good. The ceremony was good, the words perfect for them.
