Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 59

Tank POV

Max snuggled into me, and playing with my chest, had my shaft growing. I grabbed her hand and entwined our hands, stopping her from causing my body to react. My groin doesn’t know it wasn’t a signal to grow, as lustful thoughts tried to invade my mind.

It was getting harder to resist, and at the same time, my fears of hurting her were a huge c**k-block. Half the time, I am positive she had no idea what she was doing to me. She was being herself, and that was more than enough for me. I didn’t need her to sway her hips suggestively or bat her eyelids; having her in my arms and letting me help her where I can, even though she tries to be independent and strong most of the time.

The stars look so much brighter tonight, not a cloud in the sky, and voices of others, settling down for the night, floated on the air, tonight had no loud music, or rowdy guys, it was all business, having been warn to expect trouble, all the guys got the message, and would pitch in, even the ones that often thinks it was our jobs to keep them safe, now they were patch members, some were getting rude awakenings, it doesn’t stop just because you wear a patch. We don’t have prospects on this run. Everyone pitches in.

If it were any other night, and not one we have to be on guard, I would have enjoyed the stars, the soft voices, and the warm body next to mine.

While my mind was drifting through the considerable changes in my life, since Max walked in that workshop door at the clubhouse, sleep claimed me.

I woke to my alarm and quickly attempted to turn it off. Max was already getting dressed by the time my brain registered what I was doing. After getting dressed, I led Max to the bathroom, entering with her, pushing every door open, for my peace of mind, who knows if someone had managed to sneak in here. Satisfied, I gave her a quick kiss and left her to do what she needed to do.

I entered the men’s side and did the same there, opening every door, before stopping at the urinal. I didn’t want to risk being caught with my pants down; that would be embarrassing.

A quick wash, and I was outside the ladies’, waiting for Max, looking around the area as I waited. I could see Dags, doing his round, looking tired, but still alert. It made me feel better knowing he took the task seriously. He might be lazy in some ways, but some training might fix that. I see something in him. As I watched him work, I was surprised he was alone. There were supposed to be five: two pairs walking the area and one standing guard, rotating the guard every time a pair came in.

By the time Max came out, I still had only seen Dags.

“Hey.” Max gave me a soft kiss, searching my face. She must have seen my concern.

“Who forgot to get up?” She said, pinpointing my worry immediately.

“Don’t know, they might be somewhere else, won’t jump to conclusions.” Just as I was saying that, Bruier arrived, heading to the bathroom.

“Morning, you two.” He said sleepily.

“Morning, go do, we will wait here.” Bruiser nodded and entered the bathroom, like a typical man. I heard the sounds of his wind, echoing loudly in the night.

“What’s going on? Anything to report?’ Bruiser asked as we headed to where a guard should be standing.

“Only seen Dags doing the rounds,” I replied, as Dags came into view, heading towards us, as his shift was now over.

“Morning Dags, where are the others?” Bruiser asked politely.

“None came, done on my own, best I could, tried to wake up Scud, but he told me to Fk-Off, I wasn’t sure what to do, so I have been trying to do the area on my own, sorry.” He looked beat, poor guy.

“Go get some sleep. You did well, but next time, come wake me.” Bruiser patted his back.

“Wasn’t sure what room you were in, couldn’t go knocking on them all.”

“A text might have worked,” Max added softly.

“Brain wasn’t switched on enough for that logical thinking,” he shrugged.

“Could have woken me, I was outside. I would have got the lazy bums up.” I said, with him smiling at me as he thought of what I would have done.

“Go to bed, I am about to get some lazy shiets out of bed, and have them work this shift, not letting them sleep through the night and think it was alright.

We met up with the three guys on this shift, and Bruiser told them what happened and that four more would be on our shift. They left the three of them to do the circuit, and we went to help wake the lazy ones.

“Get the FUK up.” I kicked the legs on Scud and pulled him out of his bed.”

“What the Fuk? What do I do?” he screamed at me as he rushed to get to his feet.

“You missed your turn. Now get dressed and be at the meeting point in two minutes,” I growled at him.

We did that with the other three, taking turns dragging the lazy ones out of bed.

“Right, you three start the circuit, you with me, and Tank, can you and Max stay here and guard?” Bruiser had the four losers with him, and he would make them wish they had gotten up when they should have. When Prez hears about this, those guys will be treated like noms for the foreseeable future.

“I feel bad for Dags, he did the two hours alone, he most likely moved about faster so he could cover the area for the missing. I bet he was worried the whole time that something would go wrong while he was on duty. You need to do something nice for him.” Max said softly as we walked around our smaller area, looking out for trouble. So far, so good.

“I agree, he looked relieved to see us when we arrived, along with Bruiser,” I replied, wondering when the coffee would be available, because I could do with a coffee about now.

Half an hour later, Bruiser arrived back at our spot, handing us a coffee each.

“Those guys will be lucky if the Prez lets them keep the patch?” Bruiser said as he took a sip of his coffee.

“I was just saying that same thing, more along the lines that they will be noms for a while. Would he rip the patch off?” Max asked, and I frowned at the thought of what I would do if it were my decision.

“Can do, they broke trust, and told another patch member to Fuk-Off, when trying to wake him. That’s not going to sound good. I don’t blame Dags; he wouldn’t have known who the other two were on duty with them.”

The others reached us, and Bruiser waved them on. The three of us were on guard here, leaving the others to do the circuit. Bruiser was angry, very angry; he said he felt they had broken more than trust.

We stood watching the area, the others nodding as they passed us. We watched the night sky slowly change color, and the new dawn came. The shift change came, but we stayed standing on point; it wasn’t worth trying to find sleep.

“Max, go pack up, we’ve got it from here.” More were waking up, and those who put up a tent were pulling them down, the rest in swags were rolling them up, and securing them back on their bikes.

Prez came out, surprised to see us still standing here.

“Report.” He barked, having picked up on Bruiser’s anger, which still lingered.

By the time Bruiser had finished his report, the Prez was as worked up as Bruiser was, me? I had calmed down and was ready to start the day.

“Tank, what’re you reading on this?” Prez asked as I was about to leave and help Max.

“Strip the patch off Scud, make him earn it again. The others are to be treated like noms for a while too, they need to know they stuffed up, and be thankful, not kicked out completely.” I had thought of nothing else but what I would do if I were the one who had to deal out the punishment.

“Why?” he asked, and I think he was judging me. Was my VP online now?

“They broke a few rules, which under normal circumstances, might get them so dirty jobs, but all the lads know we are under threat from a gang that has lost their vision, and are out to hurt all bikers, plus we are out in the middle of bumfuk nowhere, and lastly at least one told a brother who was doing his job, to Fuk-off. No excuses will be tolerated.” I watched as Bruiser and Prez took in what I said, assessing my every word.

“Agreed, good job. Go help Max and pack up.” I breathed out a breath I hadn’t realised I was holding.
