Claimed by the Biker Giant (Maxine and Tank) novel Chapter 93

Tank POV

Watching Max walk down that aisle caused my insides to churn, and I wished I hadn’t eaten the food I was given. I still can’t identify what it was; it filled my belly and now threatened to return with force. I swallowed several times, trying to get rid of the taste. I lick my lips to find the taste of coffee, which is much better. But the churning didn’t completely go away.

My little lady never faltered as each bike roared to life. Her eyes rarely leave mine. When they did it, it was so she could look at my body up and down with her eyes and smile, I presumed, at the sheet I was wearing. I felt underdressed, looking at her. She had put a lot of effort into looking fantastic and feminine, or the girls did, but the canvas they had to work on needed little help. This was most likely the handiwork of Jenny; she would have pushed them to make the changes. Although I had heard that Sticks chose the dress, that lacework had to have been Jenny’s. It brought out a side of Max that had been hidden under the shirts and work clothes.

This was the first time I had seen her dressed up, in a long flowing dress. Her hair shone in the sunlight, and the sparkle of the hair clips was noticeable. As she got closer, I could see they were small motorcycles; she had light makeup on, something she doesn’t wear, and it was tastefully done, making her blue eyes pop. Her feet, like mine, were bare, and as she stepped forward, her blue toes peeked out of the dress, making me smile. She never wore nail polish, said it was a waste of time and money, with the job she does, the nail polish would be chipped quickly, and some of the solvents might act like a remover.

I was starting to get hard as she approached. She was stunning. My body had always reacted to her, but now, dressed like this, I have new fantasies going on in my head. When I am down, for any reason, I need to remember this day, because right now, it’s my favorite one.

My dreams will have a new look.

A better look.

A sexy look.

I wanted to pull her to me, run my fingers through her soft hair, bruise her lips with mine, and claim her right there in front of everyone. The caveman in me wanted to dominate her. It would have been the last thing Max would ever want me to do, but that won’t stop the ideas of her and me from popping into my head at this inappropriate time.

Then she was there, in front of me, her soft hand in mind, shaking, or was that me?

We shared our promises, and I chuckled along with everyone else when she promised to fix my bike for free.

“That’s kind of you,” I whispered back, as she tried to continue her promises, and I think she had to change her mind, as I broke her train of thought. We hadn’t shared what we were going to say, as Max had said, she would improvise. I loved what she had said; it made me proud inside, and so glad I carried her out of the darkness. I choked up a little when I heard her words; they meant so much to me.

No promise of love and that mushy stuff, neither of us had included that, I am glad, because my time to whisper how I feel, and words of love, are to be shared at intimate times, not like this in public. That’s how I think, I would rather show her than express it in words as a promise.

The ring did fit, as I hoped. I kissed her fingers, and then came the cut, when I put it on her and said her name for the first time. Her tears flowed, her cheeks turned red, and her smile spread across her pretty face. Seeing her in my cut, her name and mine on display was like ‘w ow, all that hard work I had put into it, my heart, my soul, my love, with each stitch, each symbol, each new color, and it was now, it belonged.

The roar of the bikes cemented her place in the club, more than my cut did. My cut was a reminder to everyone who she belonged to, but this ceremony made her officially part of the club and clarified her place within it. She was more than mine; she was theirs, too. To protect, if I am not around.

I sat on the chair and watched Max’s “no, that’s wrong” Fixer’s face as she tattooed her name in place over my heart. Later, she will finish it and put mine on hers, with the same design. She will paint the same as our tattoo on the back guard of our bikes. That was her idea, and I loved it. The same was on our bodies and our bikes. I had already added her to my cut but had hidden it from her until now, removing the paper that covered it. Now on display on my cut was her new name. I couldn’t add her design to it, but that didn’t matter; what mattered was that she was on display by me in every way possible.

“Jenny’s perfect,” Blaze said, and I had the feeling she was the one for him.

Call us crazy, or mad, or whatever, but it’s like this: when we find the one, all else fades away.

It’s a gut feeling, an internal instinct that you have found your soulmate.

“Congrats, about time.” Blaze had lost interest in the club-girl visitors, who came for a good time and hoped to be accepted into the club, about three months ago. It was like a sudden switch was turned off, and none of the visitors could find his interest. That was until Fixer

invited her few girlfriends along, and some of the patch members sat up and took notice. Who knows, maybe they would one day be part of our club; they seemed nice enough, except for Alice, but then she would never get in the door again.

“Let’s go party.” Blaze nudged my shoulder, and we walked towards our girls, who were surrounded by club members, all wanting a few moments of her time, to congratulate and welcome them to the family. We are a close group, which is why the traitor in the mix rattled us. Doris was still in the cells, the doctor checking on her once a day, and it doesn’t look good for her; she might not make it. We weren’t that worried about that. She should have died alongside her real boyfriend, who was dead. He was one of the wounded who didn’t make it when they returned to their clubhouse.

I pushed all the negative thoughts away, accepted the beer they offered, and let the party begin.

The music was rock and heavy metal; the food and drink flowed, and dancing and laughter filled the air. There wasn’t a sad face amongst us as they joined us in our celebration.
