Claimed By The Mafia Don (Ariella and Asher) novel Chapter 130

Chapter 130

Asher hovered over me. A bulge tented his pants. He brought his fingers, coated in my juices to his mouth and licked them clean with a wicked smile. My core clenched, wanting more, completely mesmerized by the sensations slowly dimming in my body.

My hand moved toward the waistband of his pants, desire clouding my judgment, but he caught my hand gently and shook his head.

“No,” he said, firm but soft.

I opened my mouth to argue, but he repeated it, a little gentler this time. “No.”

Then he stood, reached for my hand, and pulled me to my feet. Without a word, he helped me fix my clothes, adjusted my dress, smoothed my hair, and brushed the sand out with such tenderness, that I didn’t know what to do with it. He was sweet. Warm. Gentle. It felt like he actually cared.

And maybe he did.

Still, I glanced down at the very obvious hard bulge he was trying to ignore.

“That looks painful,” I said, nodding toward the tight fabric at the front of his pants.

“It’s fine,” he said quickly.

But I raised an eyebrow.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it” he added then he leaned in and kissed me sweetly, slowly and then took my hand.

“I have another surprise for you,” he said.

“Another?” I blinked at him, surprised.

He just smiled, his fingers wrapping around mine as he pulled me along through a narrow path of lantern-lit trees. The air was cool, and the stars above seemed like they were waiting for something magical to happen.

Eventually, we reached a large tent nestled between palm trees. But it wasn’t just any tent, it opened into something that looked like a secret, enchanted lounge.

A soft glow lit the space. One side held a small raised stage with musical instruments; the other had a sleek bar, and in the centre, a polished wooden dance floor gleamed under golden lights. Music played low in the background… soft, jazzy, romantic.

I stood in awe. “It’s beautiful,” I whispered.

“I knew you’d like it,” Asher said, pressing a kiss to my forehead. Then he nodded to one of the staff members, who gave a small bow and stepped aside.

Asher sat down at the grand piano, rolled his sleeves up, and placed his fingers on the keys. A moment later, the most beautiful music floated into the air. Smooth, tender, and aching in all the right ways.

Then he looked at me, extended a hand, and said, “Would you like to dance?”

I blinked in disbelief. Was this really happening?

“Yes,” I said breathlessly. “Oh my God…. yes.”

I took his hand and he led me onto the dance floor, pulling me close. His arm wrapped around my waist, the other held my hand gently, and we moved together in slow, quiet circles to the rhythm of his music.

His eyes stayed locked on mine, and the world disappeared.

Right then and there, I knew I had fallen in love with Asher again

And this time, it wasn’t just a spark, it was a fire.

I never got over him the first time. But now, I was completely, helplessly, done for.

We danced until my feet ached, until the music blurred into the background and all I could hear was the soft sound of our breathing. Eventually, he noticed I was slowing down and pulled me gently toward a chair, guiding me into the seat like I was made of glass.

“What would you like?” he asked softly, brushing a hand down my arm

“Water,” I said, realizing just how thirsty I was. Maybe from the dancing, or maybe from how overwhelming all of this had been.

I drank slowly, watching him as he watched me. His eyes didn’t stray, not for a second. The way he looked at me, it was deep, tender, almost reverent. Like I was the most precious thing in the world. It caught me off guard. That look… it reminded me of the Asher I had fallen in love with five years ago. The one who made me believe in love.

But I knew better now. I had to stop comparing the two. That man no longer existed, not in the way I remembered. This Asher … he was someone else. Softer sometimes, harder other times. But definitely not the young man I once knew.

He sat beside me, quiet for a moment, before speaking. “I have something to ask you.”

My heart dropped. Just like that, the warning bells went off in my head. This is it, I thought. This is how he ends my perfect day, with a twist that shatters it all. But I kept still, staring at him, waiting.

“I know I promised to take you home tonight,” he said.

There it is. My stomach tightened.

But he continued, and the words weren’t what I’d expected. “I’m gonna have to ask you for a

little favour… if you will, of course.”

I nodded slowly. “Okay.”

Like I had a real choice. But my voice was calm, controlled.

He smiled a little. “This place is new, and I wanted to experience it with you. I thought… do you mind if we sleep over in the VIP suite? Just to test it out?”

The grin on his face was wicked, playful and full of wicked promise.

I let out a soft laugh, realizing what he was really asking. It wasn’t anything sinister. It wasn’t some trap. He just wanted to stay here with me.

“Yes,” I said immediately, without thinking. But then the thought of Leon hit me like a gust of

cold wind.
