Claimed By The Mafia Don (Ariella and Asher) novel Chapter 355

ARIELLA

Before I could react, Axel pulled me from my seat and into his lap.

“What are you doing?” I giggled, even as his hands settled firmly on my waist.

“What does it look like I’m doing?” he murmured, a smirk already forming as his lips brushed just behind my neck.

I tried to twist away, laughing, breath catching as his kisses followed me.

“We are in the dining room,” I whispered between giggles. “People eat here.... Anyone could walk in at any second.”

“I don’t care,” he said simply.

And then he pulled me closer, His mouth finding mine, cutting off every protest before it could even form. I tried to squirm, half-laughing, half-breathless, but Asher’s arms were firm, unyielding. Every time I moved, he adjusted, keeping me pressed to him, his smirk teasing, his gaze dark and intense. And just like that… I forgot exactly why I had been trying to resist in the first place.

“You’re enjoying this,” he murmured, voice low, dangerous.

“I—what? No, I....” I stammered, but my words were swallowed by the soft brush of his lips against mine, each kiss made my heart race.

“Liar,” he whispered, nipping gently at my jaw, making me shiver. “You love it.”

I tried to wiggle again, but his hands tightened slightly at my waist, holding me in place.

“People could walk in at any moment,” I reminded him, laughing nervously, though my voice trembled slightly.

He tilted his head, studying me like I was the most fascinating thing he’d ever seen.

“You're forgetting that this is our house” he said, voice low, teasing, dragging the words out. “No one can stop me.”

I felt heat rise to my cheeks and rolled my eyes, though I couldn’t hide my grin.

“Maybe I should let you,” I admitted,

His smirk widened, sharp, knowing.

“Good,” he said. “Then you’ll stay right here, just where I want you.”

I gasped slightly as he leaned in, his lips trailing down my neck again, his warm breath brushing my skin. My hands found his shoulders, gripping slightly, unsure whether to push him away or pull him closer.

“You’re terrible,” I whispered, laughing softly, breathless.

“And you love it,” he countered, voice low, vibrating against my ear.

I groaned softly, trying to escape his teasing touch, but every movement was futile. He held me effortlessly, a playful smirk on his face, his eyes dark and commanding. He captured my lips again, and this time, I didn’t try to resist at all. Not even a little. Because somewhere deep down, I knew… I didn’t want to.

Just as I was about to let Asher completely melt me into liquid, a sudden sound stopped us. Footsteps Approaching the door.

I froze immediately. Asher’s attention snapped toward the door, alert, sharp, then just as quickly, his gaze returned to me.

“See,” I whispered, my heart racing, “someone could walk in at any second. Probably Leon.”

His lips curved into that smug, infuriating smirk.

“Exactly why we need to be quick,” he muttered.

And before I could respond, he pressed a kiss to my lips, lingering just enough to make me shiver.

The footsteps grew closer And by the sound of them, it was definitely Leon. I quickly stood up, stepping away from Asher just as he leaned back, completely unbothered, a quiet laugh escaping him.

“Mom! Dad!” Leon said as he walked in. “I brushed my teeth, and I changed into my dinosaur pyjamas!”

Behind me, Asher chuckled. I turned and shot him a glare before facing Leon again.

“I was an only child,” I told him gently. “And growing up, I always wished I had a brother or a sister. It would have been fun… having someone to play with.”

I crouched slightly to his level.

“Right now, if you could have a younger brother or sister, you’d be the big brother. You’d get to guide them… take care of them… and yes, maybe even tell them what to do a little.”

Leon’s eyes lit up slightly.

“Yes,” he nodded. “And boss them around. I could start practising being a Don on them.”

I shook my head, trying not to laugh.

“Not boss them around,” I corrected. “You’d be their protector. Not their bully.”

“I didn’t say I’d bully them,” he said quickly. “I just said I’d be the boss. Because I’m older and I know more. Like you and Dad. The way you boss me around.”

“We don’t boss you around....” I started.

“Exactly,” Asher said at the same time.

I turned to glare at him.

“Asher. That’s not helping.”

He raised his hands slightly.

“I don’t know what you’re doing,” he said. “Are you trying to convince him to have a brother or not?”
