The Luna reached across the desk and took Snow’s hand, giving it a tender, reassuring squeeze.

“Nothing happens in Castle healthcare without my approval. What you’re reading is true and authentic.” Her voice softened further, laced with sorrow. “I’m more relieved than you are, Snow. Snow exhaled a long, trembling breath of relief. She turned to me, eyes shining, and leaned in to kiss my lips softly, gratefully, forgetting for a heartbeat that we weren’t alone.

Mrs. Castle, in a way her mother–in–law, simply watched with quiet fondness.

When Snow pulled back, she was grinning wide, radiant, unguarded.

“Babies, Cupid. Pups.” Her voice cracked with joy. “I can’t imagine a little mini–you running around the house.”

A soft, bubbling laugh escaped her genuinely, happy giggles that warmed places in my chest I hadn’t known were cold.

She sighed again, reaching out to rub Snow’s back soothingly.
