When they finally pulled apart, a thin, glistening thread of saliva stretched between their lips before it slowly snapped. Su Qinglan’s cheeks were flushed deep red. She pushed hard against his chest and quickly stepped back.

"Don’t tell me you brought me here just to take advantage of me!" she muttered, then turned and ran deeper into the flower field, putting clear distance between them. She looked back at him with a mischievous glare, eyes sparkling with teasing light.

Han Jue stood frozen, caught completely off guard. His ears burned bright red.
