Chapter 81

ETEA

I walked out of the shower, my cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Muttering under my breath as I walked away, “Bastard.”

I can’t believe I walked into the bathroom while he was in there. I didn’t know, in my defence, but what stopped me from walking out.

He was quite well-endowed, I had to admit. I hadn’t expected him to be that big. Not that I hadn’t seen it before. It just looked… different now.

I can’t believe I’m comparing his dick size, then and now.

But what I’m most surprised about is his confession. Did he just admit to liking me?

Was he really serious?

I feel like he isn’t. He just said it in the spur of the moment. He couldn’t have been serious. He was probably just caught up

in the moment.

I walked into the room he allocated to me and decided to take a shower. Before then, I grabbed my phone and called Beck. It’s been a while since I last heard from him.

“Nia, hi,” he said as he picked up after a couple of rings.

“How are you doing?” I asked, curious.

“I’m good. You?” he said.

“I’m alright,” I took a seat on the couch beside the bed.

“I’m so sorry. I haven’t called to check on you. Especially after the incident,” he said guiltily. “I’ve had a lot going on.”

“That you couldn’t reach out?” I said, feeling a bit pained.

“I’m so sorry, Nia,” he said.

“It’s alright,” I said gently. “I just wanted to check on you. It’s been a while.”

“Thank you,” he replied. “I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”

“Okay.”

“Have a nice day,” I said and ended the call.

I hope he’s able to sort out whatever that’s going on with him. He often withdraws when he’s going through something. That’s why I didn’t stress the conversation so much.

He will come around when he’s ready.

I entered the bathroom to see that he still had my shower gel and make-up remover.

Not just that, my entire skincare products and hair products were all here.

“That’s quite surprising.”

I took a shower, washed my hair, did my skincare and opened the wardrobe. I don’t know how I expected clothes to be here

for me.

KITA

I put on a robe, took a deep breath, and walked to his room.

“Come in,” he answered as I knocked.

He was seated at the edge of his bed and tapping on his phone, clad in sweatpants and a t-shirt. He arched his brow at re

“Do you need something, Nia?”

I wrung my hands gently. “I have nothing to wear.”

I don’t know why I was feeling so embarrassed.

“Don’t worry. I’ll just go home.”

I turned to leave. “It’s pouring outside.”

“Really?” I asked in shock. I looked out to see gray skies and showers. It was just a couple of minutes past five, and it was already this dark.

“Yeah,” he said, rising to his feet. “I’m sorry. I didn’t realize. I’ll have some clothes ordered for you. But in the meantime. what do I have that’ll fit you?”

He shuffled around, rummaging through his closet.

“Here you go.”

I stood at the entrance of his walk-in closet as he handed me a black graphic tee. Just a black tee.

“No bottoms?” I asked.

“My pants will all be too long for you,” he said pointedly. “Do you really need them though?”

“What?” I asked as he turned around to face me.

“You don’t really need the pants,” he said this time.

I stared at him, completely aghast. “I don’t need pants?”

“Yes,” he said casually. “My shirt is basically a dress for you. Put it on. Let’s see.”

“You’re so mentally unstable,” I said, throwing my arms up in the air. “You want me to wear just a shirt?”

“That gets to your knees, Nia,” he tapped on his knees for emphasis.

“It’s still just a shirt,” I replied, crossing my arms.

“A long one,” he said, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’ll give you’shorts and socks then.”

“Better,” I replied.

“I don’t see what the problem was, though, especially when you’re comfortable wearing shorter dresses out,” he said, heading

back into the closet.

“It’s just your lewd thoughts speaking,” I mumbled.

He spun on his heels. “My what?”

Chapter 81

He grabbed my jaw as I stared at him mute.

“Say that again. One more time. Nia Emily Page.”

“I didn’t say anything.” I averted my gaze.

“Do you want me to spank you again?” he said, his pitch dangerously low.

I felt wetness pooling between my thighs. Not again. My body can’t keep betraying me like this.

I shook my head. No.

“Words, Emily. Use your words,” he scolded.

“No?” It came out more like a question than a statement.

“You seem to be testing me,” he said, unusually calmly.

I didn’t even know the answer to the question he asked. I feel like a part of me wants him too. I feel almost ashamed that I’m having these thoughts.

“You’re just an ass…”

He kissed me before I could finish the sentence.

The words dissolved between us.

I gasped as his hand slid to my waist, pulling me closer. For a second, I forgot every argument I’d made in my head. Forgot the embarrassment, the confusion, the fear.

There was only him.

I wrapped my arms around his neck instinctively, and he made a low sound in his throat that sent heat rushing through me. The kiss wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t careful. It felt like every unsaid thing between us had finally broken loose.

When he pulled back, we were both breathing hard.

He rested his forehead against mine.

“You drive me insane,” he muttered.

I laughed nervously, my heart pounding so hard I was sure he could hear it.

“I think you started it.”

A reluctant smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

“Probably.”

For a moment, neither of us moved.

The storm raged outside, rain striking the windows in steady waves, but inside the room everything felt strangely quiet.

His expression changed.

Not colder but softer. He brushed a strand of wet hair behind my ear.
