Chapter 314
Lucas was in awe. He was shocked to know that this warrior from the Aspen Kingdom was his brother. He couldn’t believe it.
His mother had told him before about his older brother once in a while, but even she didn’t know whether Lucian was still alive or not when he was onboard alone to go to the other kingdom. He could have died, he could have been starved or he might turn into someone awful.
But, who would have though that he would be a warrior from Aspen? This was a shocking truth for Lucas and his mother when they figured out Lucian even still remembered his mother and returned.
Meita couldn’t stop her tears.
“I thought I lost you…” Meita kept saying the same thing over and over again, as she clung to her first son. “I am sorry, child, I didn’t mean to leave you behind, I didn’t mean to leave you alone out there, but I didn’t have other choice. I didn’t.”
Lucian hugged his mother gently. “I know, mom, I know. There is no need for you to apologize to me, there is no need for that.” He kissed his mother’s cheek. “Now, come with me, okay?”
Lucian lifted his head and looked at his younger brother. He knew there was something different about him, there was something that resembled their mother. His eyes, he had their mother’s beautiful eyes.
“Come with me.” Lucian stretched out his hand. “You don’t need to look for shell anymore. I am going to take care both of you.”
Lucas took Lucian’s hand and he pulled him into a hug. The three of them hugged each other and cried their hearts out.
“But, where we are going?” Lucas was worried about it. “We are from Barlukan, will the people in Aspen accept us?”
“Of course,” Lucian said for sure. “They will accept you both. If they are trying to bother you, don’t worry, I am going to deal with them.”
Lucas grimaced. “Is that, alright? Will you get trouble if we come with you?”
Meita lifted her head and looked at Lucian too. “I don’t want to cause you trouble, Lucian. We are fine to live here.”
Hearing that, Lucian shook his head vigorously. There was nothing fine to leave them here on their own. “No, of course not. The two of you are going to come with me. We will be together and you don’t need to worry about anything else. I will take care of you.” Lucian ruffled Lucas’s hair. “What do you want to do?”
Lucas answered without even thinking twice. “I want to open a bakery store.”
This was an unexpected answer, but Lucian liked it. “Sure, let’s fine a nice place for you to open your store.”
For a moment, they indulged with these ideas, but then Meita kept asking whether they would be a burden for him.
“Of course not.” Lucian kissed his mother’s hair, he remembered he liked to play with them when he was little, he also learned on how to braid them.
“Are you sure, this is alright? What if the king and the queen questions you? What if they see you as a traitor? Did they know you are from Barlukan?”
Lucas looked concerned again.
“Don’t worry about that, I am here because I am looking for you. The queen gave me permission, not only that, she even asked the king to postpone the travel back for a day, so I can find you. She sent five more people to help me.”

Chapter 311
Meita and Lucas looked shocked when they heard that.
“The queen from the Barlukan kingdom did that?” Lucas was awestruck. She must be the karter person in this feat.
“Yes, she is. You will see her in person if you want.”
Meita and Lucas shook their heads. “No. We don’t deserve to see her.”
However, even when they said they were afraid to see Rania, despite their gratitude for her, it was the pier berelf, wh wanted to see them.
Later. Lucian asked the two of them to bring important things only, and they packed their belongings in less than half an hour, since there was nothing much in their possession.
Most of the things they brought were their clothes.
Cam. Ray and the other warriors cheered when they learned Lucian had found his family. Three of them had to theft into their beasts, so there would be place for Meita and Lucas.
“Don’t worry, we have been wanting to shift for long time ago, our beasts need to stretch.” One of the warriors reassured Meita and Lucas, who volunteered to shift and follow the car in his beast instead.
And with that, they returned to the inn where the king and queen stayed right in time before the time of their departure.
Lucian was thrilled, he was so happy and he didn’t think he needed to sleep.
After he arranged the car for his mother and brother, he
ent back to the queen and apologize for his tardiness.
