Crowned by the Man They Feared (Amelia and Jeremy) novel Chapter 641

Sabrina had actually stooped to such despicable lengths just to frame Amelia.

A recording? Amelia scoffed inwardly—it was obviously something stitched together through editing.

She had indeed spoken with Sabrina earlier, but the content was nothing like what had just been played.

No wonder Sabrina had deliberately guided the conversation, baiting her with those pointed questions.

It was painfully obvious—she wanted to record her words, then splice and edit them into a trap.

What was truly impressive was the speed—less than half an hour, and the fabrication was already complete.

This was clearly premeditated, with a team standing by to execute it flawlessly.

Amelia drew a slow breath, forcing herself to calm down; this was no time for impulse—the steadier she was, the clearer she had to think.

She shot a look at Brielle, her voice calm yet carrying undeniable authority. "A recording? Ms. Brielle, are you certain what you heard was complete and unaltered?

"I did exchange a few words with Sabrina earlier, but it was nothing more than harmless small talk—there was not a single word about harming anyone."

She paused, her eyes sharp as blades as they pierced Sabrina. "On the contrary, it was your dear cousin who kept approaching me, asking question after question. Looking back now, every one of them seemed deliberately leading."

The surrounding guests, already drawn in by the commotion, immediately began scrutinizing Sabrina with new suspicion.

Sabrina's expression flickered—she hadn't expected Amelia to stay so composed, let alone strike back. She quickly put on a look of grievance and turned toward Brielle and her grandmother.

"Brielle, you know what kind of person I am. And Grandma, you watched me grow up. I don't speak unless I'm sure."

"Exactly! Sabrina is the most sincere person I know. She'd never joke about Aunt Nydia's life!"

Brielle immediately took her cousin's side and snapped at Amelia.

"Stop smearing my sister! You tried to kill someone, got caught, and now you're blaming others?"

"Enough, enough—stop arguing. Nydia's safety comes first. Everything else can wait."

Cora stayed by her daughter's side, her nerves stretched tight, in no mood to pursue anything else.

As Nydia's mother, her daughter's life was all that mattered.

"Still, Sabrina declared it was poisoning without examining your aunt at all. She even had a detox pill ready—almost as if she'd prepared it ahead of time."

The statement hit like a thunderclap. Sabrina's heart skipped a beat, since she was the one guilty, after all.

But she knew how to hold a poker face.

She replied calmly, "I work at PharmaCore 01, and I've been managing my aunt's health for years. I know her condition better than anyone."

"Exactly! Sabrina's been the one treating Aunt Nydia all this time. Of course she'd notice the moment something was wrong—what's strange about that?"

Once the guests left, the impression etched into their minds would remain—Amelia was vicious, capable of murder.

Any later clarification would be far less effective.

Amelia let out a cold laugh. "Sabrina, do you have the courage to play the original recording in full right here? Let everyone hear what I actually said—and how you led the conversation."

That was when real panic flared in Sabrina's chest.

In the raw audio, Amelia's replies were cautious and minimal; it had taken Sabrina's team great effort to splice fragments into something resembling a confession.

If the original was played, her scheme would collapse instantly.

She forced herself to steady down, convinced Amelia was bluffing.

"What original recording? This is the original."

"Oh?" Amelia raised a brow. "You really do sound confident."

She smiled faintly and unhurriedly pulled out a phone she had prepared long ago.

"I tend to be cautious and leave myself a backup.

"When Ms. Sabrina asked me so many strange questions earlier, of course, I had to protect myself."
