Once they were alone again, Kulas said, "Your room is already being prepared as we speak, so let’s check out the training area, shall we?"

Kulas then led them to the back of the palace, where a flower garden of massive, unknown plants was growing. As they walked through the garden path, Kulas explained, "This is where I grow my tea leaves."

"How do you grow them?" Ren Xia asked.

Ren Xia frowned at his ominous words and quickly said, "You’d better tell us, especially since you fed it to us."

Kulas let out a laugh. "I grow them in special soil—soil that’s been infused with my blood."

"Your blood, again? Do you consider it some kind of universal treasure that improves everything it touches?"

"If you’re worried about side effects, worry not. We’ve done extensive testing until we’re certain of their safety for consumption. Of course, this goes for the magical beasts outside, as well."

"And how many people have died during those tests?" Ren Xia asked with a quick sneer.

"Nobody died. At worst, a few had upset stomachs for several weeks."

Once they left the garden, they arrived at an empty courtyard with a single guard protecting a circular platform with Array Symbols etched all over it.

"This lowly subject greets His Majesty." The guard bowed the moment he saw them.

Kulas gave a slight nod of acknowledgement before speaking to Tian Yang, "We’re almost there."

A moment later, they stood on the platform before being teleported to a new location.

"Where are we?" Tian Yang muttered as he found himself standing on a massive platform while surrounded by water.

"We’re inside a separate dimension—one completely isolated from the outside world," he explained calmly.

"What?" Tian Yang raised his eyebrows, clearly puzzled.

At this point in history, the concept of creating one’s own world was still in its infancy, and very few people were even aware that such a feat was possible.

"How does it work?" Tian Yang asked.

"How does one create their own world?" Ren Xia inquired.
