After Samson left, Ariel's expression gradually returned to calm. She lowered her eyes and pinched the back of her hand, trying to clear her thoughts.
Everything Samson had said was unverified.
She couldn't let him take her back to Croinia. She certainly couldn't leave Jayson behind without knowing what had happened to him.
The door clicked as it locked behind Samson.
Only after she was sure he had gone did she dig her hidden phone out of her pocket.
It was now powered on. Apart from the scrambled screen, there were no major issues.
She moved to the window, trying to get a better signal. A single weak bar flickered once more.
She felt anxious. She couldn't waste more time here. Her only hope now rested on the phone.
…
After Samson went upstairs, he felt a vague sense of frustration he couldn't quite explain.
He poured himself a glass of wine. But before he could drink it, his phone rang.
Seeing the number, he immediately answered.
A report reached his ears from the other end of the line. "Mr. Pryce, it seems… the Nielsens have failed."
Samson's hand tightened on the glass, and his gaze darkened.
Of course, he was shocked. How could there be any surprises in what should have been a certain death? Jayson was trapped from all sides. How had he escaped?
But before he could even speak, another piece of shocking news came through.
"Also, we found something interesting. We've been tracking Jayson. He travels constantly, which makes sense given his identity. But recent analysis shows the place he visited most over the past few months was Nacsall."
"So?" Samson asked.
"Jayson seems to have an organization in Nacsall, specializing in embryo transplantation."
Samson froze mid-action. His expression sank completely.
…
Janice's heart sank.
Jayson approached, checked the time, and calmly tried to ease her anxiety. "Something's off. I suspect she's no longer in that area. We may need to rethink our approach."
Janice froze for a moment. "What do you mean?"
Wade gestured forward. "Let's talk inside."
Jayson nodded. He had been unable to reach Ariel, and with no other news coming in, he had thought she was trapped inside.
But Wade and he had searched several areas without finding her. That was when he started forming other theories.
"Searching a fixed area isn't usually this hard, especially when the team includes locals," Jayson shared his thoughts.
Janice finally realized. "So she could have gotten out of the danger zone?"
That was one possibility in Jayson's mind. But…
"If she left the danger zone, she'd have contacted HQ. I suspect she's facing some other trouble." Jayson frowned, his eyes filled with a chilling intensity.

Please give us more chapters. We're stuck at 889 since November....
Can you give me more chapters please...
Can you give me more chapters? I was hoping for a happy ending with Ariel and Jayson. Janice with Wade, and if not, put her with Chad, Matt, or even Liam....
Nice and amazing story with gripping turns, but can you give more chapters? And please we need more romance as readers, it has been dragging on a lot, maybe romance, happy ending and end it soon....
