Jayson had dealt Samson a devastating blow—especially in the emotional aspect.
Despite his anxiety and fear over Ariel's disappearance, Jayson had the foresight to record his phone conversation with Samson. That voice recording was undeniable proof of Samson's crimes.
Rather than using violence, Jayson had simply cut off all of Samson's escape routes.
Samson could no longer return to Croinia if he wanted to remain free. Even if he dared to go back, his father, Stanley, would never allow it—Samson would face prosecution for his actions.
With no way to return home, Samson would have to relinquish his position in Yeager Group. Everything he had fought to secure would fall into someone else's hands. In short, Samson was finished. All his plans—the projects, the business ventures, the power he sought to consolidate in Croinia—were utterly destroyed.
Samson had always been the kind of man who would do whatever it took to get what he wanted. He was cold and detached, yet he had poured all his passion into his career.
His ambitions had always been grand. He wanted to rise to the top of Yeager Group and elevate its status even further.
With the Yeager Group's backing and the materials company he wanted to take from Jayson, Samson had dreamed of following in his father's footsteps—becoming an influential government official.
Yet, everything was ruined now.
Samson's anger boiled within him. His face had turned as pale as a sheet. Still, he knew that in every battle, there were winners and losers. This time, though, the price of losing was unbearable.
Wade glanced at Samson. He had heard of the young man, of course—Samson Pryce, the genius known for his sharp mind since childhood. But Wade hadn't expected to see him in such a pitiful state.
Despite his background and status, Samson could never set foot in Croinia again. Jayson had utterly crushed him.
If only he hadn't made Jayson his enemy—if only their goals hadn't clashed—Samson might have continued to shine, displaying boundless potential.
Jayson smirked, his eyes cold and distant. "Even outside of Croinia, you've got plenty to clean up, Mr. Pryce. You'll be quite busy for a while."
Then he looked down, his tone softening as he held Ariel's hand. "We're done here. Let's head back."
Instinctively, Samson took a few steps forward, but pain seared through his back wound, making him stumble. He crouched, his vision blurring, eyes red as he stared up at the helicopter rising into the sky.
A hollow ache filled his chest. He felt as though he would never see Ariel again.
He had expressed his true feelings in all the wrong ways. And Samson knew that he would never feel this way about anyone else.
…
Wade had received strict orders from his superiors for this mission. His task was to ensure Ariel's safe return to Croinia.
Inside the helicopter, Ariel was still trembling. She gripped Jayson's hand tightly, needing to feel his warmth—to make sure he was really there.
After all, she had been through an emotional storm. If not for the hope and belief that Jayson was still alive, she might not have made it this far.

Can you give me more chapters? I was hoping for a happy ending with Ariel and Jayson. Janice with Wade, and if not, put her with Chad, Matt, or even Liam....
Nice and amazing story with gripping turns, but can you give more chapters? And please we need more romance as readers, it has been dragging on a lot, maybe romance, happy ending and end it soon....
