Chapter 100 On the Same Side
Ayla stared at him in disbelief.
He didn’t hate him?
Did she guess wrong?
But his attitude toward Troy didn’t show the slightest bit of not hating him.
Just as she was feeling confused, Draven added, “I find him disgusting.”
He had found him disgusting since childhood and that feeling only got worse every day.
Ayla was dumbfounded.
It took her a few seconds to process his words.
It seemed being disgusted was more serious than just hating.
The dim light in her gaze instantly brightened, but she felt even more nervous.
“Mr. Storm, the next thing I say might make you mad, but I have to be honest with you.”
Draven looked at her, unblinking.
“Go on.”
“I want to use you to get revenge on Troy…”

She quickly added, “No, I shouldn’t say revenge. Real revenge would take a huge effort and it’s not worth it. I just want to use you to disgust him, so he feels upset and annoyed. That’s enough.”
After saying this, Ayla’s heart was pounding.
She hadn’t thought about using Draven until yesterday, but Troy’s actions against Kaleb made her change her mind.
Because of this, she was doing something she had never done before.
She was basically stepping out of her comfort zone.
Ayla was very nervous and scared.
Back then, what happened with Halle, Draven had shown clearly that he hated being used.
Now, she was openly telling him she wanted to use him again.
Draven would be a gentleman even if he just threw her out.
So, she took a huge risk by opening her mouth.
Her only hope was that Draven despised Troy.

She hated Troy now too.
They were on the same side.
Ayla was gambling, betting on whether Draven would be willing to work with her.
Gamblers rarely have good luck.
But she helped him win ten grand before and she got a good hand that time, so maybe this time, too.
What an odd feeling of self–confidence!
Draven kept staring at her. Ayla was already planning to be completely honest, so she let him stare all he
wanted.
After a long time, she finally heard him speak. “Don’t you love him?”
Ayla answered firmly, “Not anymore!”
Draven was silent again.
Ayla grew anxious, feeling like she wasn’t going to get a good result this time.
And that seemed to be the case because the conversation was cut off when Blake walked in.
“Mr. Storm, I’ve sent the others home,” Blake said after glancing at them. “Are you sending Ayla home?”
Ayla quickly said, “I drove here.”
She regretted it immediately.
Draven had a car too. If she had been bold enough to ask for a ride, she could have pushed the issue a little more. Now, with both of them driving home separately, she wouldn’t get a chance to talk.
It took a lot of courage for her to speak up once.
If Draven didn’t answer, his silence meant he wasn’t interested.
“You drive me,” Draven said.
Blake added, “Ayla, you take Mr. Storm home.”
“Okay!”
Great! There was another chance.
Blake said, “Mr. Storm, then I’ll head out first.”
Draven nodded.
After Blake left, Ayla looked at him, waiting for his reply.
Draven didn’t say anything. He looked at his phone for a moment, then stood up.

Ayla’s attention was completely focused on him. “Mr. Storm, are we leaving now?”
Draven nodded and walked out.
He was heading to the restroom.
Ayla waited for him by the restroom door.
Because she was distracted, she didn’t notice Troy until he walked within two meters of her.
Ayla’s expression instantly turned cold.
Troy rarely saw her look like this, but he didn’t care. “Did you quit your job?”
His question instantly reminded Ayla of Kaleb.
Her hands were clenched into fists.
“Don’t worry, I will absolutely not quit!”
Troy frowned. “Where do you get your confidence from?”

“If I slapped Bria, you would slap me back without holding anything back, right? You went after my brother,
so I’m going to fight you back. I don’t need any confidence for that, it’s my instinct!”
“Did you hook up with Draven?” Troy curled his lip cruelly, mocking her without restraint.
He never listened to anything she said.
Troy wasn’t here to talk. He was just here to be cruel.
Humiliation, slander, and putting her down–that was his goal.
Ayla was silent for two seconds, then suddenly gave him a cold smile. “Yeah, I hooked up with Draven. Are you surprised?”
Troy’s face instantly turned cold.
Ayla felt a bit relieved, but far from satisfied. She wanted to scold him more.
“Keep making things up,” Troy said.
Ayla was speechless.
Just as the tension peaked between them, Draven appeared.
Troy’s face instantly darkened.
His eyes narrowed.
The anger on Ayla’s face hadn’t faded. She looked at Draven and it was as if she had found her backbone, giving her more courage.
