After she left, Skyla tapped her fingers on the desk, then made a call.

“Rolf, I already contacted the boss. Maybe we can meet the developer of LugiX tomorrow. Could you come with me?”

Rolf said, “Of course.”

Skyla brought Rolf because he was an extra advantage.

After all, the son of the richest man in the city was a useful connection.

When she finished most of it, she remembered a book written by Avery.

Ayla searched. The city library had one copy.

After work and dinner, she went straight there.

Ayla looked up. Rolf was flipping through the pages, his gaze on the text.

He knew she was looking at him, so he finally raised his eyes. His tone was calm, but there was a faint, hard- to–detect edge. “You’re interested in computer science too?”

He was meeting high–IQ researchers tomorrow, so he wanted to cram.

A colleague from R&D made him a reading list. Online delivery would not arrive in time, so he came to borrow the books.

He did not expect to run into Ayla.
