Divorce and Freedom: No More Homemaker for Him
Chapter 455 New Life
After Polly finished speaking, she tried to step forward and hug Brianna, as if to comfort her.
All the hesitation on Brianna’s face vanished in an instat. She coldly slapped Polly’s hand
away
Polly’s hand froze midair. Her mind went blank for a second–she didn’t quite process what had just happened.
Finished
Brianna’s gaze cut across Polly’s face like a blade. “Don’t worry. I will win Best Actress one day–but your name will never appear in my acceptance speech.”
Polly exploded. “Brianna! Are you really going to go against me? You’ve only met Hannah a few times–she’s been crawling around this industry for years, seen every kind of monster there is. Do you really think she wouldn’t lie to you? And that Ayla–she speaks and acts lawlessly. Can you tell what she’s really thinking? Don’t be naive. Centurion isn’t as good as you imagine!”
“I don’t know what they’re like, but I do know that you’re far worse than I ever thought. Polly, you’re a demon.” Brianna continued, “Just based on that alone. Centurion is already far more reliable than you.”
Polly was livid. “So, you’d rather trust an Ayla you’ve only met once or twice than believe me now?”
Brianna replied, “Yes. That’s my choice. I’ll gamble everything–but I will never listen to you again.”
Polly’s face stiffened, then twisted.
In the beginning, when she first kept those photos and videos, she hadn’t planned to do anything with them.
It was only after Brianna started acting–after she saw her potential to become famous–that she decided to squeeze every last drop out of her. That was when she shifted from being a friend to becoming her agent— sharing the profits.
When Stargaze Entertainment offered 10 million dollars, Polly would take 60 percent. That’s six million dollars. She had no intention of letting that kind of money slip through her fingers.
She softened her tone. “Brianna, you’re emotionally unstable right now. I’ve told you before–you’ve been emotional for a long time, and your judgment hasn’t been right—”
A sharp slap landed across her face. Brianna’s palm struck Polly squarely on the cheek.
Polly was stunned, disbelief filling her eyes.
This time, she truly couldn’t process what was happening.
Brianna lowered her voice. “So, this was your plan all along–to force me into becoming a ‘crazy woman,‘ then keep abusing me mentally? These methods of yours are disgusting. Maybe you really did drive me insane. In that case, you can be the first to taste the results of your own work.”
That slap completely tore their relationship apart.
Brianna didn’t want to leave herself any room to retreat
She turned around and walked away.
Polly’s expression turned vicious. She didn’t chase after her. Instead, she sent Brianna a message with a cold face.

Chapter 455 New Late
“I’ll make you regret going against me!”
After sending it. Polly stared at Brianna’s back, waiting for her reaction.
Brianna stopped and looked at her phone.
Polly figured she would calm down within seconds,
Instead, what Polly got was Brianna’s middle finger–raised high behind her back.
Finished
Brianna returned to Ayla’s private room.
Ayla immediately noticed something was off–Brianna looked shattered yet resilient, as if she were carrying a story carved into her bones.
Maybe it was because she already ran an entertainment company, but Ayla’s first instinct was that Brianna had enormous potential. Hannah probably felt the same way.
Brianna said, “Ms. Keaton, I still want to sign with you.”
She showed Ayla the message Polly had just sent her. “But you have to help me.”
Brianna briefly explained what had happened between her and Polly.
Only she herself knew how much pain she was enduring beneath those words.
Ayla and Hannah both felt that for her to make this decision at all had taken tremendous courage.
There was no contractual entanglement between Brianna and Polly. They were independent of each other, which meant Brianna could sign at any time.
“Ms. Keaton, I don’t want to drag you down. If you sign me, your company may have to pay a huge price in PR management. I don’t know what Polly will do, but I’m probably a high–risk artist. I could blow up at any time. If you don’t want to work with me, I wouldn’t be surprised.”
She was almost too sincere. Actors needed this kind of purity–sometimes even a touch of naïveté. It was exactly the kind of quality an actor needed.
Ayla said, “I promised you. As long as you want to sign, I will sign you–unless you’re the one who refuses.”
