Chapter 504 She’s Here

After parking, Bria looked around.

Ayla and Sol weren’t there yet. Arriving early calmed her nerves.

At least she still had time to prepare herself.

Renee pulled in right after and parked beside Bria.

Bria kept checking her phone. Then suddenly, Ayla called. She jumped. Being that close to meeting her idol made her sensitive to everything.

“Ayla, are you guys here yet?” She gripped her phone tightly.

Ayla asked, “Are you riding in my car, or yours?”

My car? Her car?

Bria thought it sounded strange, but her mind was blank. “Mine, obviously!”

“Alright. Wait there.”

“Wait!” Bria tightened her grip, heart pounding. “How long until you get here?”

“One minute.”

“One minute?!” Bria blurted.

“What’s wrong?”

“N–nothing!” Bria hung up and covered her mouth, screaming silently.

Seeing Bria like that, Renee didn’t even dare breathe loudly. “Are they almost here?”

Bria whipped her head up and grabbed Renee’s arm, torn between fear and excitement. “One minute! They’ll be here in one minute!”

When someone was both thrilled and anxious, even they couldn’t predict their own reaction.

Bria remembered the first time she saw Sol at a private racetrack. She chased every race and put in many efforts just to catch a glimpse. Then came the shock–Sol vanished after achieving her goals.

Three years later, she heard about her idol again through Ayla. On her 21st birthday, Sol would appear in front of her and personally take her for a drive.

The emotion hit so hard that Bria’s eyes reddened before she realized it.

Renee was stunned, not knowing what to say.

They stood there in silence, staring at each other.

Inside, both were buzzing.

An engine sound drew closer. Headlights cut through the dark, washing over them.

Bria and Renee exchanged a look.

They’re finally here!

They turned toward the car. Bria clutched Renee’s arm, nerves making her cling without thinking.

The lights were blinding, but she didn’t dare blink, afraid she’d miss her idol’s first appearance.

“She’s stunned,” Ayla said. She had been at ZeitTech. After work, she told Halle about it, and Halle came along out of curiosity.

“She’ll know who I am. Do you think she’ll be disappointed or shocked?”

Halle grinned mischievously. “Definitely shocked. Probably scared too.”

The Range Rover pulled over to the roadside.

Bria and Renee still didn’t move. They didn’t even blink.

Ayla and Halle stepped out.

Renee whispered, shaking with excitement, “They’re here!”

“I know!” Bria whispered back.

She recognized Ayla, of course.

She’d also seen Halle at the Saffrons‘ charity gala before.

Ayla actually brings someone else?

Bria had fought so hard just to meet her idol. Why did Ayla’s friend get to see her so easily?

Her excitement mixed with irritation. Bria really didn’t like Ayla doing that.

To her, her idol was untouchable–not someone anyone could just meet.

Whatever. After tonight, she’d make it clear to Ayla.

Bria kept waiting. Ayla and Halle walked right up, but no one else got out of the car.

Her excitement and nerves peaked. She suddenly felt lightheaded, her breathing tight. Eyes wide, she blurted out, “Ayla, where’s Sol?”
