Chapter 574 Who Is That Jerk?
“Let her wait a bit. No rush.”
Ayla thought about what Draven had just done to her in bed, and she still had to meet Bria with a calm face. She couldn’t help coughing a little. “Mr. Storm, I’m not as shameless as you.
Draven stopped teasing her.
They changed into casual clothes. Draven wore all black, while Ayla wore all white. Both outfits were simple and clean in style.
Whenever they stood together, the quiet, hazy intimacy between them was obvious to anyone–it was clear they were a couple.
Draven deliberately left a hickey on her neck. He didn’t plan to keep a distance from Ayla in front of Bria. Bria was definitely going to be shocked.
The doorbell rang.
“Sit on the couch. I’ll open the door,” Ayla said. She didn’t want to scare Bria the moment the door opened.
Draven didn’t mind.
Bria had really learned manners this time. She rang the doorbell only once and stood there quietly, waiting patiently.
When Ayla opened the door, Bria had just reached out to ring the bell again–but she froze when she saw Ayla.
Bria immediately broke into a huge smile. “Ayla!”
Ayla’s eyes drifted behind Bria.
Three people in uniforms were standing there, each holding at least five shopping bags. Six hands in total, holding more than thirty packages. From the logos, every single item was from luxury brands–clothes, bags, jewelry… and even some outdoor gear.
Ayla couldn’t help the corner of her mouth twitching. Bria must have emptied the whole mall.
Bria quickly explained, “It’s my first time coming to your place. I couldn’t come empty–handed. I know you like extreme sports, so I got a few things. But I wasn’t sure what you like exactly, so I just grabbed some stuff you could actually use. I hope you like it.”
When Ayla had been with Troy, Bria had been nothing but a spoiled, rude rich kid.
Now that she was divorced, Bria not only knew manners, but she was also smooth, thoughtful, and very good with people.
Ayla used to have a terrible relationship with Bria, but now that Bria had changed, it didn’t bother her. And Bria was so enthusiastic that Ayla couldn’t bring herself to ruin her excitement. “Thanks. But next time we meet, you don’t need to bring gifts. This is way too much.”

Bria blinked. “Too much? I still think it’s not enough. I even thought about sending ten sales associates with me, but I worried you’d think I was being too dramatic.”
Ayla was stunned.
Alright. I barely know how extravagant Bria really is.
“Come on in,” Ayla said.
Bria was truly happy to see her. She could hardly believe it. In the past, everything about Ayla annoyed her, but now it was the complete opposite. Every little thing about Sharon seemed to draw her in.
Suddenly, Bria noticed something.
She grabbed Ayla’s hand and leaned in close. “Did a mosquito bite you here?”
Ayla’s eyes flickered with a hint of embarrassment, but she didn’t lie. “It’s a hickey.”
“A hickey?” Bria asked.
“Yeah.”
It hit Bria like a bolt of lightning. My idol is dating someone? No way!
Bria’s eyes burned with a mix of anger and protectiveness. She gripped Ayla’s wrist tightly without thinking, unable to hold back. She cursed under her breath, “Who the hell is that jerk…”
But then she met Ayla’s calm gaze. Bria froze and forced her temper down.
She took a deep breath, still glaring at the hickey, hands trembling, but forcing a smile. “So you got into a relationship this fast. Who’s the guy, Ayla? Please don’t tell me it’s some smooth–talking pretty boy trying to trick you.”
Bria looked at Ayla with an eager, almost pleading expression, but in her head, she was already planning to find out everything about that “jerk.” If he didn’t measure up to her brother, she’d make sure he behaved.
Ayla, surprised by Bria’s reaction, asked, “Why would you think that?”
