Chapter 120 Happiest Day
So, of course, Bria panicked the moment she saw Draven again.
But… wait!

Bria suddenly pulled her hand back, her face twisting in anger. She pointed at Ayla and complained to Draven, “She hit me!”
She felt she hadn’t done anything wrong today, so she didn’t need to back down.
If anything, it was her own fear of Draven that made her overreact earlier.
Ayla glanced at Draven. He’d told her on the phone that he’d been drinking and asked her to drive over and pick him up. But now that she saw him, he didn’t look drunk at all.
ር
Draven always had a powerful presence. And with his unreal good looks, people stopped to stare when he walked by. Some looked impressed. Some looked curious. Men and women both charmed by his looks.
But Draven ignored every single stare like they didn’t exist.
Ayla and Draven looked at each other for a couple of seconds. She couldn’t tell what he was thinking.
But since they had already eaten late-night dinner together once, she wasn’t scared of him the way Bria
was.
Ayla spoke calmly, “Bria came up to me and started trouble for no reason. I slapped her twice because she asked for it.”
Bria’s eyes flew open.
She couldn’t believe Ayla said that out loud like it was nothing.
Isn’t Ayla scared of Draven, too?
I complained first! She should be nervous!
But she’s even more arrogant than me!
“Ayla! You hit me and you still think you’re right?”
Ayla shot back, “And you think it’s right to pick a fight with me?”
“I only did it because you made me dump red wine on myself…” Bria stopped mid-sentence and slapped
a hand over her mouth.
Oh, damn. She slipped. That whole thing was her fault. Draven punished her because she deserved it. And now she was causing trouble over it again—this was also her fault.
Ayla let out a cold laugh. “Thanks for the reminder.”

Then she grabbed a wine glass from a nearby guest and dumped it right onto Bria’s clothes.

Bria stared at her wet shirt, then at Ayla’s cold face. Her mind went blank. She was completely stunned.
The guests around them were shocked, too. Ayla handed the empty glass back to the person she borrowed it from and said, “This drink is on me.”
Ayla looked cool and distant, but her features were stunning-almost too beautiful to look at. The guest she leaned toward turned red in the face. “No … no, it’s fine…” he stammered.
Ayla looked back at the frozen Bria and said, “Now we’re even.”
“You …” Bria trembled with rage, her voice shaking. “Dra … Draven already punished me for you! And you still dare splash me?”
“Mr. Storm punished a spoiled little sister. I splashed you for myself. Those two things don’t conflict.”
Bria had no words left. Ayla was acting completely different today. And with Draven standing right there, Bria didn’t dare do anything.
She knew she’d lost this round.
Ayla used to ignore Bria because she thought Bria was just emotional and not worth the trouble. But the more Ayla ignored her, the bolder Bria got.
And now Ayla had no reason to show her any mercy.
Ayla felt satisfied. She asked the guest to charge her for the drink. Then she looked at Draven, who hadn’t reacted at all.
Draven glanced at her, then walked back toward the private lounge. Ayla quietly followed him.
She was thinking hard.
Draven hating Troy was one thing. But Bria was his sister, so that was different. She had just slapped Bria twice and splashed her. She didn’t know if Draven would blame her for it.
Draven sat down on the leather couch once they entered the room. Ayla closed the door and said, “Mr. Storm, if you think I went too far…”
Draven’s sharp gaze moved over her face, and he cut her off. “You’re in a really good mood today?”
Ayla nodded. “Yes. I am.”
Today was the happiest she’d been in a long time.
She finally cut all emotional ties with Troy. And Bria practically delivered herself to Ayla so she could get it
off her chest.

Why is half of each of these chapters missing? The story sort of trails off in the middle of the chapter. That’s unfortunate....
