Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 795

Bria walked over with a cold expression.

The people around her noticed and quietly stepped aside.

The shift in the atmosphere finally caught Kaleb's attention.

He looked up at her.

The moment he saw her, his brows furrowed, his gaze turning icy, so cold that it felt like even looking at her for one more second was a burden.

Bria wasn't afraid of that kind of look. She just couldn't stand that kind of coldness coming from Kaleb.

Two days ago, it hadn't been like this.

And suddenly, everything had changed.

Kaleb seemed to know he couldn't ignore her. This time, unlike at the company, he didn't look away immediately. He watched her walk closer, step by step.

Bria stopped about three feet away from him.

She was slightly shorter, but her presence didn't diminish in the slightest. Tilting her chin up, she looked almost dismissive of him as she spoke. "I waited for you all afternoon.”

Kaleb frowned, his voice cold and stiff, like he was talking to a complete stranger. "Do you need something?”

Bria froze for a second. She couldn't adjust to his tone at all. Her gaze darkened, but she still managed to keep some control as she asked, "Why didn't you go see Fluffy and Birdie yesterday?”

Kaleb replied flatly, "I had things to do.”

"You said you missed them. What could've been so important that you didn't even have time to go see them?”

Kaleb frowned deeper. "What does that have to do with you?”

Those few casual words hit harder than yelling at her to get lost. Bria's mind went blank. Normally quick-witted and sharp-tongued, she didn't know what to say for a moment.

Kaleb's entire body language rejected her presence. Just like he said, he didn't want to see her anymore. He emphasized it again, "I told you already. Don't come looking for me again. Whether I go see them or not has nothing to do with you. Bria, stay away from me.”
