Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 907

Sure enough, Blake started feeling better not long after.

She knew her body well. Herman had just overreacted.

She didn’t have the patience to argue, so she let it go instead of going back and forth with him.

When Herman pulled up at the hospital, Blake got out of the car and walked straight to the entrance—then turned around and tried to flag down a taxi instead.

She stopped right outside the hospital doors and refused to go in. That was her—stubborn to the core.

Herman let out a short, frustrated breath, almost laughing.

Stubborn, unwilling to listen, always doing things her own way... he really had no way to deal with her.

He sat there fuming for a while before finally driving up to her again and giving in. "Get in. I’ll take you home."

Only then did Blake get back in the car.

From the start, a one-sided crush was never equal.

Herman had nothing to bargain with when it came to Blake. All he could do was give in again and again.

Because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t even have the right to stay by her side.

On the drive back, Herman thought about a lot of things.

He had always chosen the safe path and stayed close to her. But in the quiet of his own thoughts, he couldn’t help imagining a different side of her—one no one else ever saw.

A side hidden beneath her strong, controlled exterior.

But he truly believed that if she kept pushing her body like this, something would go wrong sooner or later.

Maybe it wasn’t just him thinking too highly of himself.

Maybe it really was time for him to step in, whether she wanted it or not.

Before, he had been fine with the way things were between them. He didn’t overthink it, didn’t worry, didn’t feel anxious.

But now, it was obvious to the naked eye—her body was starting to show signs of strain.

Even their time together at night... more than twice, and she couldn’t handle it. She’d nearly pass out.

By the time they got home from the hospital, Herman had already made up his mind.

He was going to take that step.

As luck would have it, once they got inside, Blake’s stomach started hurting again.

That gave him a reason to stay.

Of course, deep down, he didn’t want her to feel unwell at all.

Herman dug through her medicine box and found some pills. There were all kinds of medicine in there. His hand tightened slightly around the box.

Then he poured her a cup of water.

He watched as Blake took the medicine, but he didn’t leave.

Blake figured he’d leave after a while, so she didn’t pay him much attention.

But even when she was about to wash up and go to bed, he still showed no sign of leaving.

She gave him a look, silently telling him it was time to go.
