Chapter 1045
Hera watched as her light barger disintegrated before her eyes, her terror reaching its peak. She never imagined that her peak divine realm barrier would fail to stop Ashton’s strike. She simply thought that the situation had turned into her worst-case
scenario.
She gritted her teeth and kept forcing spiritual energy into her barrier, trying to hold Ashton at bay. She knew that she would be done for if Ashton broke through and closed in on her. She had clearly underestimated Ashton’s strength, though.
Ashton, almost immediately, followed up his first strike by clenching his fist again and frammering down with a Sixfold Carnage
Fist.
Hera’s barrier collapsed under the weight of the blackened fist and then blew apart with a thunderotz blast-like a glass dome that could never withstand the impact of a falling meteor.
“How could this be!” Hera’s last shred of hope was crushed, knowing that she could do nothing more than to protect her vital points at this juncture.
She was struck by the blow, sending her hurtling from the sky into the earth and forming a human-shaped crater with blood splattering everywhere.
“How pathetic!” Ashton exclaimed, shaking his head in disappointment. He wondered if this was really the limit of a peak divine realm expert.
Hera forced herself through the searing pain, shot away, and widened the gap between them while Ashton was momentarily distracted.
She then roared at Tobias, “What the hell are you waiting for? Get him! If he lives, none of us will! He won’t stop until we’re all dead!”
Tobias’ eyes narrowed as he glanced at the barrier surrounding them, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to leave unless he killed Ashton.
“Get him!” Tobias didn’t hesitate. He knew that by joining forces with Hera, their combined cultivation and power would give them the upper hand.
Hera and Tobias, driven into a corner, felt their vitals tremble and began to fight with everything they had.
They each suddenly manifested their most powerful divine abilities as concentrated light beams. The sheer force of their peak divine realm energy surged like a hurricane, creating a cage of energy that locked Ashton to the spot.
“It worked!” Hera and Tobias’ eyes flashed with excitement.
They knew that, with Ashton confined, as long as they gave it their all for their next strike, no one-short of an otherworldly realm expert-could possibly survive unscathed.
Tobias sneered. “You arrogant fool! Your time has come! Eden will belong to me once you’re dead!”
He burned through his blood essence to push his divine ability to its absolute limit, which caused a towering manifestation to appear behind him, exuding immense, crushing pressure.
“You’ve brought this ruin upon yourself!” Hera bit down on her lip, her palm glowing with intense power.
She launched a devastating light beam filled with killing intent at Ashton’s heart. She had exhausted all her reserves, staking everything on the success of this attack.
It was then that space itself vibrated for a fleeting moment before the two divine beams descended upon Ashton like celestial judgment. It produced a deafening blast that tore apart the surrounding space, creating violent fluctuations.
Ashton was lost within the surging torrent of energy a moment later.

Eder and Lauten both shuddered inwardly at the sight of this, their faces draining of color. They knew very well that Here and Tobias had wagered everything on this attack, even at the cost of sustaining grave injuries.
They were aware that those who had reached the peak divine realm possessed an incredibly sharp intuition for danger and opportunity.
“Ashton played it too boldly! He had every opportunity to take them down individually!” Eden furrowed her brow, bracing herself for the worst. She couldn’t fathom why Ashton had been so reckless.
