“Yeah. Leave now!”

“I’m not leaving.” Ashton smiled at the crowd, then walked over to Kieran and planted a foot on his head,

“You have two options. Die, or take me to your boss.”

“Who the hell are you? What do you even want?”

Kieran was terrified. The injuries Ashton inflicted on him were already severe, and that was with Ashton showing restraint. Otherwise, he would already be dead.

“I’m helping her find her daughter. While I’m at it, your boss will start working for me from today onward,” Astrton said calmly. Kieran’s eyes widened. He never expected Ashton to say something so outrageous.

Ashton nodded and brought her along as he followed Kieran and his men toward the central hub of Lavora’s criminal underworld. That was where their ruler, Xena Novak, ran a private club.

“Brat, are you really going to meet Ms. Novak? Let me tell you something. She is already at the pinnacle of the semi-diving realm. From what I can see, you’re just at the late-stage divine realm. You’re no match for her. And once she makes a move, she never leaves anyone alive.”

Kieran gritted his teeth and endured the pain from his injuries as he spoke.

“That’s none of your concern. Just lead the way,” Ashton answered calmly.

“Do you know anything about all those missing girls in Lavora?”

Ashton’s draconic eyes flickered as he stared at Kieran. His tone sharpened as he asked the question.
