She forcefully suppressed her fury and retorted coldly, “Do you honestly believe I care about your fate, Ashton? I’m acting solely because I refuse to see Celia suffer the consequences of your idiocy!”

“Your concern is unnecessary then! I won’t allow anyone to lay a finger on Celia as long as I’m around!” Ashton declared arrogantly.

“You’re still so full of yourself, Ashton! You don’t have a clue what you’re capable of!” Roxy snarled.

Ashton fixed his gaze on Roxy, stating coldly, “You dismiss me as arrogant, yet you never bothered to grasp the depth of my strength, Roxy. You’d better open your eyes and take a good look at how capable I really am! You’d be able to find out if I was joking when I said I would take back everything I gave you!”

“You’re beyond saving, Ashton! You’d better not expect me to come running to save you later!” Roxy snapped before dismissing him with a contemptuous snort.

“Why bother giving that idiot the time of day, Roxy? He is actively digging his own grave and fully deserves whatever happens! You shouldn’t feel any sympathy for him!” Tanya exclaimed as she pulled Roxy away.

Robert chimed in, asking, “Have you forgotten what Ashton did to our family, Roxy? That guy deserves everything he’s about to get!”

“It’s the people from the Zephyr Hall!”

It wasn’t long before a terrifying killing intent descended like a violent downpour in the main hall, causing a jolt of panic to surge through the crowd.
