Chapter 212
Chandler waved his hand, and the members of the Zephyr Hall immediately rushed forward, forming a masave, menacing throng.
Cadence’s expression immediately hardened. Their cohort of experts was modest since the Gale Assembly primarily focused on business. He knew very well that should a conflict of this magnitude erupt, they might not be able to hold back the members of the Zephyr Hall.
“You were the one who wanted me to call for reinforcements, right? They’re here now! Do you think you can handle them, Ashton?” Damian roared with laughter.
“Get him!” Chandler barked, issuing the command.
“I’ll see who dares to make a move!”
Just as the crowd assumed Ashton had no way out, two commanding voices sounded at once. Louie of the Holt Crew and Gene of Noir Bar stormed in with reinforcements and squared off against the Zephyr Hall. They now vastly outnumbered them, with the members of the Gale Assembly included.
“If you so much as lay a finger on Mr. Gray, I’ll personally wipe the Zephyr Hall off the map, Chandler!” Louie
roared.
He was now determined to give Ashton his full, unwavering support since he had already made the wrong decision once before. He had even marshaled the most powerful martial arts expert the Hold Crew possessed, simply to bolster Ashton’s position.
“You’ll have to wipe out every single one of my people before you lay a hand on Mr. Gray!” Gene bellowed.
He had immediately mobilized his entire force and rushed to the scene the moment he heard about the conflict between Ashton and Damian. They would first have to go through him if they wanted to make an attempt on
Ashton.
In an instant, the Zephyr Hall and the three major criminal underworld organizations—the Gale Assembly, Noir Bar, and the Holt Crew–stood in a tense confrontation, brimming with lethal hostility.
It was clear at a glance that the Zephyr Hall’s force had suddenly lost some of its edge. Despite nearly being an SS -ranked expert, Chandler appeared slightly weaker under the lethal pressure from Cadence, Louie, and Gene.
Chandler’s expression instantly hardened, his eyes betraying deep astonishment. He understood with dread that he had greatly miscalculated the situation tonight.
He certainly couldn’t afford to cross someone who commanded the unconditional loyalty of the three major factions–the Gale Assembly, the Holt Crew, and Noir Bar. He was convinced that engaging in combat would result in certain defeat for his forces.
Chandler looked awkwardly toward Damian and said in a hushed tone, “I fear that Zephyr Hall’s contingent alone is insufficient to apprehend Ashton, Mr. Payne. I’m worried that it might tarnish your reputation if we actually start fighting. How about exploring another solution, Mr. Payne?”
Upon hearing that, Damian’s features hardened further into a furious scowl, his hands tightening into resolute fists.

He simply couldn’t comprehend how Ashton wielded such influence, securing the unconditional support of the criminal underworld’s three major organizations, who were willing to risk outright conflict with him.
“H–How could this be happening? How did that good–for–nothing acquire such vast influence?” Tanya, on the verge of losing her sanity, stared at the still–defiant Ashton.
“Is Ashton really that formidable, Roxy? He actually got the Holt Crew to back him up!” Robert was dumbfounded, seeing Ashton in a completely new light. He, however, felt even worse, as all he truly wanted was for Ashton to remain that spineless, good–for–nothing brother–in–law.
Roxy remained silent for a long time before finally muttering, “They are merely thugs and delinquents from the criminal underworld…”
“If you have any other backup to call, you should do it now, Mr. Payne! I don’t have all day to waste here with you! If that’s all you’ve got, then it’s my turn! I’ll let you crawl out of here alive if you slap yourself ten times across the face and vow to cease all harassment of my woman!” Ashton declared, radiating confidence.
His entire objective for the evening was to display his overwhelming power, after all.
Sylvia was blushing and beaming with happiness, her heart quivering with a sweet excitement.
