Chapter 225
Hank’s hands moved swiftly, drawing up wisps of air laced with parasitic poison and shooting them right at Ashton’s forehead.
However, to his shock, all of his attacks were shattered by an overwhelming force before they even got near
Ashton.
“What’s going on?”
Hank was hit with an inexplicable sense of uncase–especially when his eyes began stinging the moment he met Ashton’s gaze.
Eyeing Hank coldly, Ashton declared, “The evil and the wicked, like you, deserve to die. Do you have any final words?”
To him, Hank was already a dead man.
“Go to hell!” Hank roared as he mustered up all of his strength and lunged at Ashton.
He was this close to getting his hands on Natalie. There was no way he’d let Ashton ruin everything for him.
But at the very next moment, a blade of inner energy ripped through the air, slicing through all of Hank’s defenses and stabbing him right in the chest, drawing blood.
Howling in agony, Hank soared through the air before slamming onto the floor, just barely alive.
“Sir! Save me!” he cried out.
He had no idea how Ashton could be this strong.
Besides, Ashton should’ve been affected by the parasitic poison from the moment he entered the office. Why did he seem completely unscathed?
“Who are you?” Sid questioned, his eyes glinting coldly as he glared at Ashton, the unwelcome guest, with a murderous expression.
The air of pure, untainted energy that radiated from Ashton gave him an innate sense of dread–as though he’d met his mortal nemesis.
“I’m the one who’s about to kill you,” Ashton coolly replied.
While Sid tried to find a way to channel the colorless, formless parasitic poison into Ashton’s body, he growled darkly, “I’ll have you know that I’m from the Grim Coven. Do you know the consequences of making an enemy out of me?”
Ashton could feel the wisps of parasitic poison clinging to him, but he simply snorted. “Making an enemy out of you? What makes you think you’re worthy of being my enemy?
“Since I ended up stumbling into the remnants of the Grim Coven today, I guess it means it’s time for you guys to be wiped out for good!”
“Such arrogance! Even the SS–ranked expert lost to me. What makes you think you’d be any different?” Sid frowned.

He was waiting for the parasitic poison inside Ashton’s body to get the job done, but he found that Ashton seemed completely unaffected by it.
“Why would it be different for me? Because I’m Ashton Gray, of course?” Ashton snorted condescendingly.” Guess you’ve finished giving your last words. A disgusting dwarf like you deserves to die. Just the sight of you ruins my mood.”
Sid’s eyes flashed murderously. He hated people who mocked him for being a dwarf and for being ugly the most. He wanted to torture Ashton and make him die in pain.
In a flash, he brought up both his hands and formed an invisible web of parasitic poison, bringing it down on Ashton.
“Ashton, watch out!” Natalie yelled, paling in terror.
Alban had lost because of this attack and suffered greatly as a result. She was afraid the same would happen to Ashton.
“It’s just one of the petty tricks of the parasitic arts. I don’t need to watch out for it,” Ashton remarked with an indifferent scoff.
“Such arrogance! Time for you to choke to death, devoured by the parasitic poison!” Sid bellowed.
With a ferocious expression, Sid made the web of parasitic poison crash down on Ashton. However, just as he waited for Ashton to be consumed by the poison, he saw sparks of fire flickering through the web.
