Chapter 226
In an instant, the sparks turned into roaring flames.
“Sovereign Flame!” Ashton’s eyes flickered darkly, his blood rushing through his veins.
“What’s that?”
Sid’s eyes widened when he saw that the black flames were swiftly swallowing up the web he’d formed out of parasitic poison. The moment the web was completely reduced to dust, he was hit with the backlash. He let out an anguished howl as the parasitic poison in his body turned his skin even darker and more gruesome–looking.
Those who engaged in the parasitic arts feared fire–based divine abilities the most.
“Who the hell are you?” Sid roared, his face scrunched up in pain and his eyes filled with horror.
“I told you, I’m the one who’s about to kill you. Not only did you have the nerve to lust after my woman, but you also practice something as heinous as the parasitic arts. You deserve to die for that!”
Ashton stared coldly at Sid, a dragon seemingly forming in his eyes. Blood trickled down from his eyes as he snarled commandingly, “Sovereign Flame!”
Instantly, black flames erupted across Sid’s body. The fire devoured him whole, as if the flames could never be put
out.
He screamed in agony, desperately trying to draw on every ounce of strength he had, to no avail. When faced with Ashton’s divine ability, his pitiful strength was nothing.
“No!”
Sid was a sitting duck. Under the threat of death, he howled, “I’m from the Grim Coven! If I die, they won’t spare you! I’ve left my mark on you. You can’t escape. Release me! I don’t want to die…”
“You deserve to die for what you’ve done!” Ashton declared icily. “As for the Grim Coven, I’ll be waiting for them. No matter how many they send after me, I’ll kill them all!”
The black flames roared, devouring Sid completely. Not even his bones remained.
The smell of ash wafted through the air.
Hank, who was only barely alive, watched in indescribable horror. To him, Ashton looked like the devil himself.
“Since you dared to use the parasitic arts on my woman, I’ll make sure you die a slow death,” Ashton said.
A dark glint appeared in his eyes again, and the black flames now ignited Hank’s body as well.
Hank rolled across the floor, screaming, “Nat! Save me! Don’t let Ashton kill me! I’m your cousin! I’m your only living relative…”
Natalie trembled as she watched while the flames engulfed Hank, a rush of exhilaration flooding her chest. She looked at Ashton with a mix of shock and reverence.
All women were enraptured by mighty heroes, especially a proud woman like Natalie.
In under a minute, Hank was completely reduced to ashes, dying most tragically.
Ashton turned around and looked at Natalie, who was slumped on the floor. Taking in her exposed skin, he asked, “How should you be addressing me now?”
1/2
Natalie shuddered at his words. She met his gaze and felt how imposing it was,
“Greet your master!” Ashton commanded as he stared down at the prideful Natalie.
