Chapter 247
Ashton could be patient with a seductive woman like Natali and take his time slowly winning her over. But with someone like Sally, who was an airhead with no substance, he had no patience at all.
“How dare you talk to me like that, Ashton! Do you even know who I am? Look at how many people I have with me!” Catching the disdain in Ashton’s eyes, Sally’s temper flared.
She snapped, “Open your eyes wide and take a good look around. These are all the Holt Crew’s men. When they make a move, they don’t hold back. Take my advice–get out of the Sloan residence and leave Melody alone. Otherwise, you’re not walking away in one piece!”
“I’ll say this one more time–out of my way, or don’t blame me for being rude,” Ashton said frostily.
“And you’re acting all cocky now. Looks like you need a lesson to understand who you’re dealing with. Men, get him on his back first!” Sally flicked her wrist, giving the order.
“Yes, ma’am!”
The Holt Crew’s men closed in around Ashton, their faces hard and mean. They all knew Sally was Louie’s kept woman and wanted to put on a good show.
Ashton merely glanced at Sally with icy indifference and kept walking forward.
In a flash, the men lunged at him, going all out. But within a heartbeat, a brutal, explosive force sent them flying like they’d been struck by lightning. They crashed to the ground and howled in pain.
A suffocating pressure rolled over Sally like storm clouds bearing down on a city. She trembled, and fear spread across her face when she met Ashton’s deep, unfathomable gaze. She felt like she’d angered a king in the throes of wrath.
Wiping the cold sweat beading on her forehead, she screeched, “Get him, all of you!”
But the men she brought were no match for Ashton. A terrifying blast of force tossed them aside again. They lay groaning, unable even to stand.
“You… You…”
Sally had never seen anything like this. Noticing the redness in Ashton’s eyes, she stumbled backward, her legs shaking.
“I already gave you the chance to get out of my way. So why did you insist on provoking me?” Ashton strode up, grabbed her by the face, and spoke with a voice like ice.
“Get your filthy hands off me! You think you can touch my face? Do you even know whose woman I am? Let go!” Sally was both terrified and furious as she shouted at the top of her lungs.
“You’re just Louie Holt’s kept woman. You think you’re worthy of screeching at me?” Ashton said coldly, “I wasn’t planning to bother with you for Louie and Melody’s sake, but you insisted on provoking me. What do you think is the price you should pay?”
He studied her up close, then slapped his palm onto her shoulder. Under the sheer force, her knees buckled. Her tall figure dropped, and she kneeled before him. Her kneecaps turned bright red on impact. He said coolly, “You can start with kneeling and repenting.”
“How dare you humiliate me like this! You’re dead meat, Ashton Gray! My sugar daddy will never let you go!”
Sally had never suffered such shame in her life. She tilted her head up and screamed curses at Ashton.
“Call him, then. Let’s see if he can kill me, or if he’ll go to war with me on your behalf.” He let out a short,

He had no interest in indulging spoiled, arrogant women like her. She deserved a hard lesson.
“Just you wait! I’m calling him right now! Louie is the Holt Crew’s future leader, and he dotes on me. He even said he’d gift me to a big shot. No one can save you tonight!”
