Tonight still wasn’t quite the right moment, but Ashton was sure it wouldn’t be long before Natalie would willingly give herself and everything she had to him.

“I’ll let you off this time, but I’ll take double what I wanted tonight next time. Be ready for that.” He gave Natalie another spank before leaving, feeling satisfied.

Only after the door had been closed for a while did Natalie finally let out a breath and realize her clothes were soaked with sweat. In her eyes, there was a flicker of relief and a trace of confusion.

Honestly, even she didn’t know whether she’d wanted Ashton to force himself on her just now.

“He’s getting harder and harder to read… He’s domineering and forceful, yet he’s also a gentleman. Am I actually thinking about falling for him?”

She squeezed her thighs together and lay back on the bed. Oddly enough, she felt a pang of regret for letting Ashton leave.

“Next time, I’ll bring Sheila along. She can get a taste of what Ashton has to offer first!” Her smile turned wicked as the thought amused her.

The night deepened.

Ashton felt unsatisfied, but he wanted Natalie’s complete devotion. To get that, he’d have to play the long game. He mulled things over while tamping down the violence and desire stirred up by the Drakeller technique.

Suddenly, a sharp shout cut through the night. Not far from Lakeview Heights, Sally strode forth with a dozen people in tow. She wore denim short–shorts and a cropped cardigan that showed her midriff. She stood in Ashton’s path.

“It’s you?”

Ashton was surprised to see her in all her five–feet–nine glory. What did this piece of eye candy want with him now?

She strutted up to him with her head held high, her heels clacking on the ground. She stopped before him and barked, “You clearly didn’t take my words to heart, Ashton How dare you still come back to Melody’s home? Did you forget that I warned you to get the hell out of here?”

Ashton remembered now. At Trent Kramer’s birthday party Sally had indeed threatened to drive him out of the Sloan residence. But why would he care about that?

He stared at Sally’s gorgeous face, a hard edge and heat flang in his eyes. He’d just been teased to the brink by Natalie, and the Drakell technique was still churning inside him. He was now burning up on the inside.
