Sally had always been arrogant and domineering. She was the one who bullied others–never the other way around. So when she was humiliated like this, it was unbearable. The sheer shame made her whole body tremble.
The worst part was that she couldn’t even struggle now, since Ashton had her pinned under his foot.
“You’re dead! You’re so dead!” she kept roaring, completely losing her grip on reason.
She was a “princess“, after all. And now, her dignity was in shreds.
“Is that so? I’d like to see whether you’re actually capable of turning that into reality,” Ashton said coldly. “Until Louie gets here, you’re staying down. Don’t even try to get up.”
Sally lowered her head, already plotting how she would get even once Louie arrived. She swore she wouldn’t let Ashton off easy that night!
About ten minutes later, a killing intent swept in like a howling gale.
“Sally!” Louie’s voice boomed through the night like a great bell.
“Louie!” Hearing him, Sally’s pent–up grievance burst forth like a dam, and tears flooded her face.
She braced her hands against the ground and forced herself up, first shooting Ashton a vicious glare before springing toward Louie. She sobbed as she said, “Louie, thank God you’re here! If you’d been any later, this monster would’ve tormented me to death! You have to stand up for me tonight. I don’t even want to live anymore if I can’t get revenge!”
“Who laid hands on you? He won’t live past tonight!” Louie looked like an enraged beast as his eyes swept over the bruises and scrapes on Sally’s knees and body, feeling his heart clench.
He didn’t actually care about Sally herself. What he feared was that if she weren’t flawless, she wouldn’t be able to catch Ashton’s eye.
After all, Ashton was surrounded by absolute stunners. Ordinary women didn’t register with him.
That was why Louie insisted Sally stay in perfect condition as he waited for the ideal moment to present her to Ashton as a gift for him to enjoy.
If Ashton was pleased, and if Louie’s standing with him rose even a little, perhaps he would receive Ashton’s guidance. Then, a breakthrough might be within reach, and he could draw closer to Ashton.
That mattered more than anything!
These past days, Louie had watched Ashton’s meteoric rise His methods and background filled Louie with genuine fear and awe. He had made up his mind to follow Ashton and ride on the coattails of this man who would soon become someone akin to a god!
And Sally was the best token of loyalty he’d prepared–a pristine, beautiful, young, seductive, and sexy bombshell no man could easily refuse.
So, before handing her over to Ashton, nothing could happen to her at all.
“It was him!” Sally pointed straight at Ashton, her eyes blazing with hatred. “Make your people lay him out! He forced me to kneel and stay down just now. I’ve never been that humiliated in my life!”
“Don’t worry. Leave it to me.” Louie’s expression turned gm as he stepped forward in the darkness, wanting to see clearly who dared bully Sally.
But as he drew near, his eyes blew wide, and a vast terror stormed through his chest. His whole body went cold,

and his mouth went dry. Sweat sprang out uncontrollably.
“No way…”
Blinking hard, Louie stared ahead until he saw Ashton’s face clearly.
He was done for.
He felt his heart plunge, and he froze where he stood, as if he’d turned to stone.
