Chapter 283
Rhonda, with her eyes brimming with tears, cried out, “How can you do that, Flint? He killed Eddie! How can you
“Shut up!” Flint shot her a frosty glare. “Edmund wouldn’t have ended up like this if you hadn’t spoiled him rotten. This isn’t your place to speak.”
Rhonda lowered her head in humiliation and anger, her eyes flashing viciously.
Hazel had wanted to speak as well, but after seeing the fury in Flint’s eyes, she obediently kept her mouth shut. Nevertheless, she continued to glare at Ashton with even more hatred and anger.
“I won’t be sharing this technique with anyone, Mr. Vance, not unless I’m on my dying breath,” Ashton refused without any hesitation.
He had no intention of becoming Flint’s friend. His goal was to bring the entire Javonbury criminal under his own control, and Flint was someone he needed to take out.
“You’d better consider this carefully, Mr. Gray. Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance,” Flint warned, his gaze turning cold.
“I’ve given it enough thought,” Ashton firmly replied.
“In that case, we’ll sign an agreement about the terms of the duel. Once the terms are fixed, neither side can go back on their word. Even if you die here in Grandcrest Estate, the Legion won’t have grounds to say anything,” Flint declared icily.
Ashton nodded. “We have to set up an agreement, of course. I can’t wait for your lover and daughter to become my servants.”
Flint’s gaze was frigid. Once the agreement was signed, he walked up to Nelson and secretly gave him a pill. “If anything unexpected happens, take this pill. It’s an Activator Pill, which will allow you to temporarily reach the transcendent realm.
“When the time comes, crush Ashton. Don’t show any mercy. Am I clear?”
Nelson stowed away the Activator Pill and nodded solemnly.
Exhaling, Flint turned back toward Ashton and smirked. “Let’s go, Mr. Gray. I have an arena set up right here in the estate. I look forward to seeing just how strong you are!”
The crowd made their way over to the arena, with Rhonda glaring balefully at Ashton the whole time.
“Hate me that much, huh? Well, I hope you can keep that expression going when it’s time for you to wait on me later tonight,” Ashton said coldly.
He wasn’t going to show any mercy to a woman like her. She needed to be taught a painful lesson so she would know what it meant to respect and submit to someone.
“You’ve got guts, Ashton, using me as a wager! Don’t even think that I’d ever be your servant. You’ll never be able to beat Nelson! Never!” Hazel declared with a fierce glare, thrusting her chest forward in defiance.
Ashton snorted. “I hope you can still keep this arrogance going once I beat Nelson.”
“We’ll see about that!” Hazel scoffed.
Soon, the crowd took their seats around the arena.

Despite his size, Nelson swiftly shot up the arena and called out, “Come and meet your doom, Ashton!”
“Smash him to a pulp, Nelson!” Hazel shouted.
“Kill him!” Rhonda screeched.
Ashton glanced at the two women, his expression unreadable. Putting his hands behind his back, he leisurely strolled onto the arena before saying, “If you get on your knees and concede defeat, I’ll spare your life. If not, I’ll turn your bones into dust.”
