Chapter 287
Ashton snorted. “The only thing that matters is winning, huh? Fine then. I’ll kill him then. After all, you guys are the ones who pissed me off.”
Flint’s eyes flashed with hostility. Ashton’s arrogance really got on his nerves.
“Kill him!” he commanded Nelson.
“Yes, sir!”
Nelson raised his bloodshot eyes and locked onto Ashton. His strength had spiked, reaching the transcendent realm, making his demeanor even more threatening now.
Resisting the backlash from the pill that seemed to tear his body apart, he gathered all of his strength in his right arm. Howling wildly, he lunged at Ashton, his fist aimed at Ashton’s chest.
The air seemed to crackle as his fist flew forward, whipping up a current behind it.
Nelson wasn’t giving Ashton a chance to avoid this attack. He’d staked his life on this strike.
Everyone watching felt their hearts jump to their throats. No one thought that a nobody like Ashton could force Nelson to go this far, even risking his life just to take Ashton’s.
“Die! Just die already!” Rhonda kept screaming.
But the smile on Ashton’s face, which was reflected in her eyes, made her tremble even more uncontrollably as her fear skyrocketed.
Hazel also shouted, “Time to die, Ashton! Did you really think you could have me under your thumb? Dream on!”
The mighty punch was only a few feet away from Ashton when, at last, he slowly curled his fist. Dark flames ignited in his eyes, and it seemed as though a black dragon was curled around his fingers.
Ashton threw a punch of his own, meeting Nelson’s head–on. But the instant Nelson’s knuckles brushed Ashton’s fingertips, his force, which was supposed to be that of a transcendent realm expert, immediately scattered like a cloud.
“J–Just how strong are you!”
Nelson no longer had any energy to fight back. The immense force slammed into him like a tidal wave, swallowing him whole. His supposedly indestructible body crumbled instantly, unable to put up any sort of defense.
In an instant, his body was pulverized. Blood splattered everywhere as he exploded into nothingness.
Nelson was dead. Not even a single bone remained.
As his blood continued to rain down over the arena, Ashton slowly withdrew his fist and blew on it before smiling. “You’re not fit to challenge me, not even after resorting to enhancers.”
The arena was covered in blood, but only Ashton could be seen. Nelson was nowhere to be found.
It was clear who won–and who died.
Flint’s men froze in shock, every one of them staring at Ashton with raw terror.
It was the first time someone dared to kill one of Flint’s men right in front of him, and it happened to be his most prized mentee!

Everyone’s breaths hitched. They didn’t know what would happen next.
Ignoring the shock and hostility from the gazes all around him, Ashton, who didn’t have a single drop of blood on him, eyed Flint tauntingly and smirked.
“See that, Mr. Vance? I won, right? Isn’t it time for you to give me your lover and daughter, so that they can be my servants? I’m looking forward to it already…”
