This was exactly what Natalie wanted to see. She didn’t want to be the only one Ashton took advantage of.

“Let go of me!” Sheila huffed.

After releasing her, Ashton leaned close to Natalie’s ear and said, “Don’t forget your promise. Once I get Sheila in bed, you’ll serve me unconditionally. This time, you have no more excuses to refuse me. Be good and wait for me here.”

He looped an arm around Sheila’s waist and smiled. “Let’s go. Once I treat your dad, we can start discussing some of life’s greatest pleasures.”

Sheila tried to resist, but it was futile. Finally, she understood the helpless smile on Natalie’s face earlier.

Asking Ashton to treat Kenneth was nothing short of walking into a tiger’s den, and Natalie was complicit as well! They were both trouble!

About 20 minutes later, Ashton stepped into the Beldon residence with his arm still around Sheila.

When the two security guards at the Beldon residence saw a man holding Sheila so intimately, their eyes went wide. They hadn’t heard about her dating anyone.

They eyed Ashton enviously, for Sheila was a gorgeous woman. Men would kill to be with her, and these two guards dare not even dream of being with her.

“Are you really skilled in medicine? My stepmother brought in plenty of doctors. You’d better not embarrass me when we get inside,” Sheila said.

After making countless pointless attempts to get away from him, she gave up and allowed Ashton to hold her. Still, it wasn’t entirely unpleasant to be in his arms like that. She liked strong, domineering men.

“I’ll see what it’s like when we get in there,” Ashton replied, making no promises.

There were all kinds of strange illnesses in the world. Even he couldn’t treat every single one of them.

After entering the house, they went straight to Kenneth’s bedroom, which was already filled with several people. A few old men in white coats took turns checking on Kenneth, but they all shook their heads and backed away.

“Mr. and Mrs. Beldon, I’m afraid this is beyond us…”

“We’ve never even heard of anything like what Mr. Beldon is afflicted with. Please forgive us for our lack of knowledge…”

“How could this be?” Jane Musk, a beautiful middle–aged woman, exclaimed anxiously. “My husband was perfectly fine just a few days ago. How did he end up like this now?”

“Please prepare for the worst, Mrs. Beldon…”

“Honey, I’m sure you’ll get better soon. If these doctors can’t help you, I’ll find someone else who can! I’m sure there’s someone in all of Javonbury who can save you!” Jane cried out tearfully.

Kenneth lay on the bed, his face colorless. He wasn’t even 50 years old yet, but he looked far older gaunt and frail like a man whose life was about to come to an end.

At that moment, Sheila called out, “Dad! I brought someone to save you!”

Immediately, everyone in the room turned to look at Ashton and Sheila.

When they saw Ashton holding Sheila by the waist, their expressions shifted.

“Who’s this man, Sheila?” Jane questioned.

“His name is Ashton Gray, Jane. Do you guys remember Natalie York? He’s the one who got rid of the chronic illness that plagued her for years!” Sheila declared.

She tried to pry Ashton’s hand off her, but it wouldn’t budge no matter what. He was being far too shameless!

Jane scrutinized Ashton for a moment before asking curtly, “Is he your new boyfriend?”

After a brief silence, Sheila nodded.

“How preposterous!” Jane huffed. “Sheila! It’s one thing for you to fool around any other time, but your father’s life is at risk right now. The entire family is worried sick about him, but you went off and found yourself some random man off the streets, and you even claim that he can save your father?

“What would a young man like him even know? Do you think just anyone can treat your father’s condition? You’re still mad at him for marrying me, aren’t you? You want nothing more than for him to die!”

“How can you say that, Jane? I want nothing more than for Dad to get better!” Sheila protested, her expression

hurt.

She’d even allowed Ashton to feel her up and agreed to be his woman just so that he’d save Kenneth, but all she got in return were such ridiculous accusations!

“You know full well how you truly feel! Take this fling of yours and go! Stop upsetting your father!” Jane instructed coldly.

Just then, Ashton piped up, “Mr. Beldon is afflicted with malevolent energy, If it isn’t expelled, he’ll probably be taking his last breath soon enough.
