Nadine lowered her head slightly and told Ashton her address at Serenity Grove, where she was staying She was already anticipating his arrival tomorrow.

“Let’s go there, then.”

They quickened their pace. Ten minutes later, they arrived at Sheila’s apartment. As soon as they walked in, a pleasant fragrance washed over them.

In the enclosed space, Sheila’s heart thumped wildly. Her body grew hotter, and she didn’t quite dare meet Ashton’s eyes.

After a long moment, she finally said, “Ashton, thank you so much for today. Without you, Jane and Bradley would’ve continued swindling my dad out of everything he had, and he wouldn’t have recovered. I—”

Ashton kissed her before she could finish.

“Mmph?” She couldn’t get another word out and couldn’t struggle either. Her body went weak.

He was so direct and forceful!

A full ten minutes later, their lips parted.

Ashton looked at Sheila’s face, flushed scarlet. His Drakell technique was running at full tilt. The wildfire inside him roared and surged, and his eyes blazed.

Sheila trembled even harder when she felt his fierce, conquering look on her. She said shyly, “Ashton… I’m getting sleepy. Maybe you should go back to Natalie’s place. I–I might not be ready yet.”

“Now, you say you’re not ready? Do you think I’ll let you off the hook?” He pressed her down onto the bed, his fingertips skimming over her supple skin. “You promised me this, and it’s time for you to show me what you can do. Do you know how to serve a man?”

“What?” Sheila thought she must’ve misheard. Did he want her to take the initiative?

She pressed her legs together, taking in the devilish smirk on Ashton’s face. She felt like she’d fallen into a demon’s clutches. What should she do?

“Help me undress, then put on the clothes I like.” Ashton lay back on the bed. Life had finally reached the point where it was meant to be enjoyed!

Sheila pressed her lips together. In the end, she did exactly as Ashton asked.

The air grew thick with a charged, intimate tension. Just as they were in the middle of things, Natalie suddenly called, making Sheila jump in fright.

“Hello?” Ashton answered the call, ignoring Sheila’s protests. He let Natalie hear everything on their end.
