Martha immediately blushed at Roxy’s question, which served as a confirmation more powerful than any verbal reply.

She then offered her sincere wishes to Roxy, saying, “Thank you for looking after me all these years, Roxy, I might be ending our partnership now, but I sincerely hope that everything works out for you.”

Roxy smiled wryly, thinking she couldn’t possibly hope for everything to go smoothly from this point on.

Martha subsequently turned and walked toward Ashton and Sylvia. She stated sweetly, “I’d like to sign with Evermore Media. Are there any conditions?”

That single sentence nearly sent Hester spiraling into absolute collapse. She couldn’t believe that Martha–the superstar, the massive cash cow that countless major companies were scrambling to sign with–was actively asking to join an unknown, obscure company.

She felt utterly lost, as if the very nature of reality had changed into something unrecognizable.

Hester hurriedly composed herself, pulled Martha back, and stated firmly, “Martha can join Evermore Media, provided you agree to meet several key stipulations that I have…”

She immediately launched into her demands, outlining her conditions without delay. They were not considered harsh; in fact, given Martha’s explosive popularity, the terms were highly favorable to Evermore Media.

“I agree to those terms!” Sylvia announced, a broad smile spreading across her face as she offered her hand.” Welcome to Evermore Media, Ms. Stone!”

Ashton had remained completely silent throughout the entire affair. He had simply presented himself before Martha, and yet, Martha was prepared to incur the wrath of the entire Summit Group just to sign with Evermore Media.

Ashton, this concealed gem of a man, had ultimately become impossible to overlook.

“I–I actually have just one more condition. If you can agree to this, I would be willing to reduce my commission rate slightly…” Martha murmured in an alluring voice.

There was a hint of embarrassment in her tone, and her head was lowered slightly. She couldn’t even bring herself to meet Ashton’s gaze.

Sylvia took a glance at the calm, self–assured Ashton, then smiled at Martha. “What is your condition, Ms. Stone? If it lies within Evermore Media’s power to grant it, we will certainly make it happen!”

“I–I’d like Mr. Gray to be in charge of my management,” Martha stated, her heart hammering violently in her

chest.

Sylvia immediately answered for Ashton, readily agreeing to what she clearly viewed as a trivial request. “You can consider that done! Do you have any other conditions we need to address, Ms. Stone?”

Martha lifted her chin, her face vividly flushed. She drew on every reserve of bravery she possessed, took a determined step, and walked directly toward Ashton.

They finally stood less than four inches apart. Their breaths mingled and fell warmly upon each other’s faces.

Roxy looked at Martha’s nervous and shy expression, finding the entire scene utterly surreal. Martha, the reigning superstar, the brightest gem in the firmament, was now looking up at Ashton, her eyes expressing a deep, consuming love that made him her entire universe,

How could the man she had cast aside be so intensely desired by other women? Roxy felt profoundly humiliated at that thought.

“It’s been a while,” Ashton said gently.

He had always been aware of Martha’s gaze and her attempts to draw near, but he had consistently and ruthlessly rebuffed her. He had chosen to marry Roxy back then, so he had avoided unnecessary entanglements with other women. He, however, was now a single man, unburdened as the wind.

Ashton instantly felt his Drakell technique activating the moment Martha approached. He knew in that instant that Martha possessed a remarkably special constitution. He was aware that performing paired cultivation with Martha would greatly help him raise his realm and overall power.

“It has truly been a while…” Martha murmured, her voice imbued with a captivating shyness and seduction–a sound reserved for Ashton alone.

“I won’t let you endure any unfair treatment since you’ve joined Evermore Media. You will ultimately get more than you ever would have at Summit Media!” Ashton declared.

“I don’t care about any of that!” Martha insisted, her chest heaving with agitation. She then gathered her courage and pleaded, “Is it possible for you to promise me one thing, Ashton? I’ll just consider it as my reward for signing with Summit Media. I swear I am entirely yours to command if you agree to it!”
