“Ten days from now?”
Elise and Whitney exchanged a glance, both looking quite anxious. After confirming that Ashton wasn’t joking. they said in unison, “No!”
Elise sounded quite jittery as she cried out, “Ashton, to my knowledge, the Sage has quite several factions under his command. Every single one of them is terrifyingly powerful and helmed by a transcendent realm expert.
“Besides that, he has the support of the Dominion Vanguard supporting him, and he’s working with the Jalunese Martial Academy as well. Most importantly, no one knows just how strong he is. Some have said that he’s preparing to break into the divine realm…”
Whitney also chimed in, “No matter how eager you are to be with Elise, you don’t need to get yourself killed. Ten days is too much of a rush. We can take things slow and plan properly.”
The other women also looked worried, afraid that Ashton’s blind confidence would lead him straight to his death.
Sensing their concern for him, Ashton confidently declared, “The Sage will be dying on his 80th birthday. This is something I’ve planned from the very start. In fact, 10 days feels like far too long to wait.
“Trust me. The Sage will be dead in 10 days!”
The assuredness he had in his own abilities made Elite and Whitney tremble, both feeling even more charmed by him.
“But-”
“No buts!”
Ashton reached out and pinched Elise’s delicate cheek, smiling as he said, “If the Sage and that Jalunese man don’t die, the nightmare that has been plaguing all of you will never end. You’ll live in constant fear forever. Now that you are all my women, how could I allow you to keep living in fear like that?”
Immediately, some of the women began to tear up. By now, all Ashton had to do was beckon them with a finger, and they’d happily climb into his bed.
“What a smooth–talker you are!” Whitney grumbled with a pout, but she felt just as stirred by his words.
She’d stared deeply at him, engraving his face deep within her soul.
“Do you like it?” he teased.
Ashton wrapped his other hand around Whitney’s slender waist and pecked her on the face. His breath washed against her ear as he murmured, “When do you plan on serving me?”
Her body went numb. She thought he’d forgotten about that, but he still had his eyes on her!
Unlike before, however, she didn’t feel opposed to it this time. In fact, after secretly eyeing him, she felt a strange sense of anticipation.
“I’m going to wait until you become the new ruler of the Javonbury criminal underworld first. Otherwise, I’m

worried that you’d die right after I’d given myself to you. Wouldn’t that mean I’d be forced to live like a widow?” Whitney scoffed, but she didn’t sound upset at all. It was more like a playful pout.
“That’s fine by me,” Ashton replied as he studied her voluptuous figure.
There was no rush anyway.
Since Ashton had already come to a decision, Elise and Whitney didn’t try to talk him out of it. They knew that a man like him wouldn’t change his mind once he’d decided.
All they could do was try to support him.
“What do you need us to do?” Elise asked.
After thinking about it, Ashton replied, “I don’t need you women to do anything. However, for the time being, keep the fact that you’re now under my command a secret. Wait until the Sage’s 80th birthday. We can give him a surprise then. It’ll be my birthday present to him.”
Over the next ten days, he was going to do his best to break through the limits of his martial arts cultivation and reach the divine realm.
That was the only way he could have complete confidence that he could separate Flint’s head from his body and shake up the entire Javonbury criminal underworld!
