Hector’s gaze turned sharp. He knew he had to end the fight as soon as possible. Thus, without holding back, he channeled all of his strength into his fist and aimed an attack at Dex’s head, even though he was risking the possibility of suffering an internal injury in the process.

Sensing the imminent threat to his life, Dex attempted to retreat, his eyes wide. Alas, there was nowhere left for

him to run.

“Sir!” Dex bellowed.

Just then, a thundering voice rang out, “Do you think you’re worthy of killing someone under my protection?”

A short, stocky figure emerged from a ship cabin at impossible speed. His hand shot out, colliding head–on with Hector’s strike. The impact of their brutal force made a loud, booming crash.

At the very next second, Hector coughed out a mouthful of blood as he shot backward through the air. “Captain Morrison!” Eunice cried out, her eyes widening as dread began to rise in her chest.

“Greetings, sir!”

Dex’s face lit up with joy as he greeted Erasmus, the dwarf like man before him.

Erasmus Unger nodded before snapping in displeasure, “Why have the legionnaires shown up? How did you let this happen?”

“It was an oversight on my part, sir. Our only option now is to kill them all and cover our tracks. Once we’re done with that, even if the Legion tries to look into their deaths, they won’t be able to trace it back to us anytime soon. And from today onward, we don’t plan on returning to Casoria ever again,” Dex said.

“That is indeed the only course of action for us now.”

With his hands clasped behind his back, Erasmus swept his gaze over Hector and Eunice, contempt flickering in his eyes. “The Legion must be running on fumes. To think they only sent you two B–ranked experts over!”

“Go, Eunice! I’ll hold them off!” Hector was prepared to sacrifice his life. Swallowing the blood in his mouth, he stood defensively in front of Eunice.

Without hesitation, Eunice turned and ran off. They had no chance of winning a fight with an A–ranked expert. She would only be throwing her life away if she stuck around. She had to get off the ship alive and return with reinforcements.

“Trying to leave? Neither one of you is leaving here today!”

A gust of wind swept by as Erasmus caught up to Eunice. Hector couldn’t do anything to stop him.

Without saying another word, he struck her with his fist, breaking through her feeble attempt to defend herself and smashing her to the floor.

Eunice spat out a mouthful of blood, no longer able to fight

At the very next second, Erasmus made yet another move. With his hand in a claw–like form, he shot at Hector at an overwhelming speed and clasped his hand around Hector’s neck. Then, he hoisted Hector up and threw him heavily onto the floor.

Hector’s bones splintered under the impact. He was bleeding out all over and couldn’t even get back on his feet. “You truly are invincible, sir!”

Stunned by the display of Erasmus‘ power, Dex and Tucker elt even more reverence for him.

“Go and deal with the others, you two. We’ll toss all their bodies overboard and let them sink to the bottom of the sea. Don’t let a single one survive,” Erasmus instructed. “The Legion must never know I was the one who killed their legionnaires. Otherwise, I’ll never dare set foot in Caseria again.”

“Understood, sir!”

“Also, about the remuneration for my involvement today…

“Rest assured, sir. We’ll most certainly fulfill all your demands!”

With Hector and Eunice, the two most powerful legionnaires, completely crushed, Dex and Tucker launched an attack on the others, resulting in a one–sided fight that swiftly ended.

Harry and the rest of the squad were captured, bound tightly, and stripped of any chance to resist.

“Set sail!” Dex gave the order.

The Horizon began its course toward international waters. As the ship cut through the sea, Dex and the others could finally breathe easy.

Buck walked up to Dex and proudly shared his most recent feat. “Dex, I caught a beauty just now, and she’s all natural, too. She’s truly a seductive stunner!”
