Martha gave Ashton a sly smile. “Babe, you want to take down Roxy’s Summit Media, right? Well, the woman in there is Samantha Andler, a rising star who’s already an award–winning actress. She just came back after filming wrapped up for one of her projects, so I invited her over to my place tonight.

“Do you know that Samantha alone brings in 30% of Summit Media’s revenue? If you can poach her to Evermore Media, Summit Media would basically fall apart!”

“Samantha Ander?”

Ashton paused, a flicker of recognition passing through his mind as he recalled seeing her in some popular television shows before.

Considering her popularity, she was definitely one of the top stars of the younger generation, and her career hadn’t peaked yet. She was undoubtedly Summit Media’s strongest asset, generating even more revenue than Martha did.

“If Samantha hadn’t been busy on set, she would’ve been the spokesperson for Revita Serum and PureDew Mask alongside me, babe. Roxy considers her the company’s trump card.

“But because the Complexion Elixir ended up taking the market by storm, Roxy didn’t get Samantha to endorse any products in order to safeguard Samantha’s reputation.”

Martha continued to cling to Ashton. “You’re a capable man, babe. I’m sure you can poach her! She’s a gorgeous woman, and if you like her, I wouldn’t mind sharing you with her…”

Ashton was speechless. Just what was Martha thinking? Did Sylvia brainwash her somehow? She was even voluntarily finding women for him.

He began thinking it over. Martha was right about one thing. If he managed to steal Samantha away from Roxy, it would be a catastrophic blow for Summit Media.

However, it probably wouldn’t be so easy to do that.

Just then, the bathroom door creaked open.

Samantha stepped out wearing a loose T–shirt, her hair still wet. Droplets of water clung to her body, making her seem even more alluring.

“You shameless man! You absolute pervert!”

After using a towel to dry her hair, Samantha glared at Ashton before pulling Martha aside and warning her, ” You need to keep your distance from that man, Martie. There’s no telling what he might do!”

“What are you saying, Sammy? I’m already his woman…”

Martha smiled lightly before returning to Ashton’s side and snuggling into his arms with a look of bliss. “This is Ashton Gray. He’s basically my husband. Babe, this is my good friend, the award–winning, rising young actress Samantha Andler. You two should get to know each other.”

Samantha’s eyelids twitched at the sight of Martha being so intimate with Ashton. She eyed him curiously, wondering what was so captivating about him that inspired Martha’s devotion to him.

If Martha’s many admirers knew that she was hugging another man and introducing him as her husband, their hearts would certainly break.

“That man was peeping on me in the shower, Martie!” Samantha snapped in fury, blushing as the recalled how Ashton had barged into the bathroom.

“Well, he thought it was me in the shower. I’m sure he didn’t do it on purpose,” Martha replied, taking his side. “Remember the Complexion Elixir? He’s the one who created it. It’s good, right?”

Samantha was visibly startled.

She had just experienced its effects and was shocked by it. Her tireless grind had caused a lot of problems for her skin, but the Complexion Elixir had solved them in a flash.

Ashton was the one who created it?

She couldn’t resist taking a closer look at him, but she scoffed. “Is that why he managed to trick you into becoming his woman, Martie? I think you should think twice. He looks like a terrible person who can’t be trusted at all!”

“It doesn’t matter, so long as I like him!” Martha declared with a giggle. “Babe, Sammy, you two come and sit at the dining table. I just made some spaghetti with meatballs. We should eat while the food’s still warm!”

Martha hurried to the kitchen and returned carrying a tray with three plates of spaghetti with meatballs.
